I'm making this glossary as a page (chapter) to come to find answers as to what some things are. I will have the different planets, animal species, and other bits of the Terraform universe that are introduced here, should you find something that is in the story but not here and think that it should be, PM me and let me know, I'll be sure to add it. 

I will be adding to this a lot as the story progresses and more is introduced. 




A1-C23- rocky planet with the largest functional mining colony in the A1 system

Aft- at, near, or toward the tail of a ship or aircraft

Aleus- deity of the Celxian region, Gleslazen

Aoria (B4-D19)- planet in the B4 system, covered almost completely in water and receives minimal sunlight, is heated geothermally

Areolars- what Aorians call someone of higher status

Aubos (A1-B18)- a very bleak planet, men are valued higher than women, women are expected to marry up in status otherwise she must cut all ties with her former family or bring shame upon their name

Bow- the forward part of a ship or aircraft

Boyer's Trench- the deepest point underwater on Aoria

Catov (C8-B2)- mostly gaseous planet, natives live in large networks of domes that formed cities

Celestial- a term typically relating to the sky or outer space, is now used as a slang term for someone who is quite beautiful, typically reserved for women

Celxian- native people of C3-G12 with silver skin that looks similar to fused scales. They're all bald and speak with a sight reptilian lisp. They use body paint and tattoos to signify status and ability

Dounov (F3-B4)- very barren planet with little to no vegetation

Doyen- a Celxian master of occupation after their apprenticeship, position and importance is signified by tattoos that had previously been body paint

Elders- the eight leaders of the planet, first elders of each planet are selected by the GTA, then the position is either passed down generation to generation or is elected

FTL- faster than light space travel

Galactic Net- the connecting web of internet and communications that transfer information from one source to another

GTA- Galactic Transport Authority, in charge of current and future colonization regulations

Hansirlong's Disease- illness that swept through the Prime system like a plague, disintegrating the lungs of the person it infected until they were dead only days later

Klick- a kilometer

Kotatsu Tables- a (Japanese) low, wooden table with a heavy blanket draped over the sides and a heat source underneath

Koywei (H8-F7)- one of the most vegetated planets in the galaxy where the inhabitants use the surrounding foliage to house them

Link- small cylindrical device used for accessing information and contact between people

The Loyalists- fringe group of Celxians set on driving humans off the planet, believing that the planet should only belong to their native race.

Myohild (A2-J9)- planet governed by religion, its people unable to choose their own lives

Otrerth (D9-J4)- planet in the D9 system, under distress after a large asteroid crashed into its larger moon, knocking it off course

Prime 2- formerly known as Venus, the sister-planet to Earth. During the terraforming process of the planet, the GTA had modified the atmosphere so it was only slightly thinker than Prime 3's. The main difference between the two planets then being the time it took to make a full turn on its axis and to circle around the sun

Prime 3- formerly known as Earth, is a very dead, over-populated and advanced planet having been the site of expansion before the GTA took over and built the GTA outlet station

Prime 4- formerly known as Mars, a planet covered in eco-domes never to have been oxygen treated to remind people that when expansion was first taking place, the planets reachable were the hardest to properly colonized.

Prime System- original solar system, housing Prime 1 (Mercury), Prime 2 (Venus), Prime 3 (Earth), and so on (including Prime 9, Pluto, because Pluto will always be a planet to me!! <3)

Reonerth (B4-D2)- very hot, rocky planet with thousands of volcanos on the surface

Skimmer- water vehicle, built much like a Water Strider only taller rather than wider

Starboard- the side of the ship or aircraft that is on the right side when facing forward

Straxutis (I7-D20)- small, stony planet that is only used for mining

Tangubi Fish- fish breed native to Aoria, body of a Banggai Cardinalfish, coloration of a Regal Tang
