Kanan Jarrus was just something else.
Hera thought he was too good to be true at first. He wasn't like any human she had ever met before. He was different. The Jedi treated her like she was an actual person, and not just an object made for pleasure, which more than half the Galaxy failed to acknowledge. She appreciated how much he valued her.
He would rant with her about how slavers should go to hell. He would stay up with her and comfort her during her nightmares. He was always there for her.
The twi'lek supposed that he might be the best friend she's ever had, and he's only been on her ship for less than a year.
She laughs, amused, watching him move crates. "How did I get so lucky as to end up with him?"
Hera really could think of any words to describe him. Handsome, kind, and selfless seemed to anti climatic, and overused.
Kanan Jarrus was really just something else, she decided.
