Chapter 27- Hiding

Amelia's P.O.V

I was woke up with a pair of hands wrap around me and a soft pair of lips on neck. I automatically smiled to myself, Ethan's warm body soon against mine. I turned around to face him, the small light coming in the window letting me see his features, a beautiful smile on his lips.

"Sorry took me so long, he was in one of his talking moods, wouldn't shut up for two hours straight." He laughed

"Yes he can do some talking." I giggled "The main thing is you got here." I added

"I said I would be baby." He said winking at me

I reached in, capturing his lips in mine in a sensual kiss, short and sweet before pulling away from him. Ethan reached in, skimming his fingers over my cheek, a look of content in his eyes. Ethan pulled me into his chest, hugging me tightly against it. I buried my face in the crook of his neck, enjoying being close to him, hearing his heart beat in my ear. I wanted to enjoy these small moments that meant so much for as long as I could cause when school starts again next week not gonna have as much time especially with senior year.

"You fell asleep on me, you have went very quiet?" he chuckled in my ear

"Still awake, just content." I said placing a light kiss on his collar bone

"Me too baby." He whispered, stroking my back "You nervous for school?" he added

"A little." I replied

It is only natural cause new school, new place, new people, new teachers ect...hopefully I will fit in alright and no one will give me any bother.

"You will be fine. No one will bother you cause you are Matt's cousin. Plus you will have me around too, stick with us and you will be fine." He said

Yes I will have him but aint gonna be easy acting like there is nothing between us going on. I would prefer to be able to walk down the halls hand in hand with him, steal kisses by the lockers. I know that sounds a little cheesy but is that really that wrong to want? But that isn't gonna happen, not until Matt knows and let's face it he is still too vulnerable after losing his dad to get news like this right now, he would feel betrayed and lied to which I guess would be the truth. I was dreading when we decided to tell him, though if this works out then we won't have a choice...the longer we leave it, the harder it will be.

"I know. How are we gonna work when school starts? Can't exactly act like we are together at school in case anyone sees and tell Matt?" I asked looking up at him

"I know Amelia, wish it never had to be this way. We will work something out...promise." He said

I nodded, rolling on top of him, pulling the covers over the two of us and reached in brushing his lips slightly

"May as well enjoy our alone time while we can." I smirked

"Good plan." He smirked back

I closed the small space between our lips, placing a lingering kiss against his lips. Ethan ran his fingertips down my spine, making me shiver. I slipped my hand under his tee, fondling my fingers over his chest and stomach, feeling his every muscle taunt under my fingers. I reached for the hem of his tee, tugging at it. Ethan sat up, letting me pull it over his head and I dropped it to the floor. My tee soon followed, joining his. Ethan flipped me onto my back, climbing on top of me, the kissing becoming more lustful...more hot and heavy. I hooked my legs around him, pressing on his ass with my legs to push him harder against me. Ethan and I were getting right into our little make out session until we heard someone coming upstairs, making us both freeze and stop what we were doing

"Shh, hopefully they won't come to the room." I said

I knew it was probably Matt since my Aunt was in her bed the last thing I knew.

"Amelia can I come in?" I heard all of a sudden, a knock on my door

"Shit." I whispered

"What the heck are we gonna do?" Ethan said panicking

"You need to hide...now." I said anxious and panicked

"Amelia?" I heard again

"Give me a minute Matt." I called back

Ethan jumped off my bed, looking for somewhere to hide and eventually choose my closest, rushing over and hiding in there. I closed the door behind him, grabbing his tee from the floor, climbing back under the covers and hiding his tee.

"Come in." I said

My heart was pounding in my chest, my palms sweaty and my pulse was in overdrive. I was hoping he could not see on my face that I was hiding something from him. I also hope Ethan is alright in the closest, it aint exactly the biggest place.

"Everything alright cuz?" I asked trying my best to make eye contact with him

"Have you seen Ethan or did you hear him leave? He has vanished." He asked

Yes Matt I have seen him, he is hiding in my closet half naked. How do you think he would like that answer? Yes I do not think he would like that at all. Time for another lie I guess?

"Nope not seen him since we were all downstairs, never heard him leave either. Maybe he sneaked out to see that girl he is seeing." I said shrugging

"I honestly wouldn't put it past him." He laughed "Do you know anything about this girl he is seeing, know you two chat a lot." Matt asked sitting on my bed

"Nope, only what you know." I said

"She must be something if he is keeping her away from everyone and not hooking up with other girls. Hopefully he doesn't end up with his heart broken. I know he comes off as a tough guy, someone who doesn't really show how he is feeling but that really aint him. He has a big heart and would do anything for anyone." Matt said

I smiled hearing Matt talk about his best friend this way cause I know how close they were, how much Ethan has been there for him. Though I know he would never talk this way in front of other people and Ethan and Him sure would not have any conversations like this. I can imagine Ethan standing in my closest trying not to laugh or give his best friend a man hug.

"I am sure it will be fine." I smiled

"Hopefully. Well sorry for wakening you up. Gonna head back to bed, will kick Ethan's ass in the morning for disappearing. Night dork love you." Matt said hugging me

"Night jackass, love you too." I said as I hugged him back

Matt soon disappeared out of my bedroom and I made sure to close the door behind him, listening to make sure he was downstairs before I told Ethan to come out.

"You are safe." I said

He was quick to come out

"That was seriously a close one. We need to be more careful." Ethan said

"I know." I sighed

Ethan made his way over to me and I looked up at him

"Think it is safer if I head back down, well in a bit." He said sadly

I nodded, agreeing with him cause he was right in case we nearly got caught again. Ethan and I sat down on my bed, talking and kissing for a bit before he had to leave. I was disappointed he couldn't stay with me tonight.

"See you in the morning beautiful." Ethan said kissing my cheek, giving my hand a quick squeeze

"Yes see you then baby." I said frowning

He stole one last kiss before heading off. I climbed back into bed deciding to try get some more sleep since it was nearly 4am already. I hated how empty my bed felt...how cold I felt cause he wasn't cuddling into me. I think there may be a slight chance that I am possible falling in love with Ethan, not sure completely cause I have never been in love.
