Grayson who seemed relatively happy before was now stone cold, there was no stupid smirk, just a scowl.

Did I do something wrong to make him snap?

I stood there awkwardly in his room, leaning against the grey wall well he sat on the edge of his bed with his head between his hands, if you had no previous knowledge of what had happened a mere ten minutes ago, you'd think someone died or something.

I cleared my throat, "Uhm, w-well I should get going," I bit my lip, "I'm already late as it is."

He looked at me as though I had just grown a second head, "You're not going to school."

"What? Why not?" I exclaimed.

He ran a hand through his hair, I noticed that's a habit of his, he seems to do it a lot.

"Schools almost over," he said as though I was stupid, "What's the point?"

I stared at him blankly, not knowing whether I should just walk out right now and find my own way to school or if I should just wait, because he did have a point, school is almost over.

I think I'm just making excuses to cover up the real reason I don't want to go to school.

"Well can you drive me home then?" I asked.

He shook his head, "Thought you said Caleb would kill us if he found out." He mimicked.

I rolled my eyes, "Well just drop me down the road or something." I murmured.

"He'll still be pissed you're not at school."

I frowned, knowing he's right. I missed yesterday's day of school already and I'm currently missing another, he'd kill me if he finds out I missed another day even though he's missing school too.
