Chapter 3

Summer's POV

I was still in my dream land when I heard noises downstairs.

It was still tolerable at first.. Then the noises suddenly turned to crashes and ear-splitting sounds.

'WTF! Can't they stay quiet when some people are still sleeping their asses here!' I thought.

I decided to get up from my bed since I can't possibly sleep again with all those noises.

I decided to peek on the windows to see what's happening downstairs.

And I screamed on the top of my lungs with what I saw...

Michael's POV

Time for school.. AGAIN..

Ugh..I'm happy and pissed at the same time because I need to go to school again.

I'm happy because I'll see my buddies again.. but I'm pissed coz I'll see those bloodsucking leeches again.

I shook my head off the thought of those leeches. Just thinking about them makes me sick.

I parked my car in my usual parking space and got out just in time to see my buddies Dave and Steve walking towards me.

"Hey dude! How was your weekend?" Dave asked chirpily.

"The usual boring and annoying weekends."I sadly replied. I find my weekends at our house boring because of my father

who always shouts at me and my little sister even though we didn't do anything wrong. He's been like that since mom

died when I was five. I'm used to my fathers' attitude since a long time ago. I shrug of the thought about him since

it's only going to make my day worst.

"Ha-ha-ha I guess you got scolded by your father again right?" Steve said smugly.

"Not funny dude. And I don't take his scoldings to heart anymore. I'm used to it." I spit back.

After a few minutes students started arriving too. We went to our usual spot on the quadrangle of the school

to avoid the leeches coming in and glaring at us in the parking lot. We spotted our friends with their mates walking

towards us. Oh yeah, I just said mates. Did I told you we are werewolves? I guess not.

So you see we are werewolves and when i say 'mates' I mean 'soulmates', your other half, your one true love.

I cannot explain the feelings of having a mate since I haven't found mine. I sadly thought about where she could

be at this moment. I really want to find her soon. I was still in my own world when Dave's mate, Jenny, started

waving her hands at my face.

"Hey Michael! You're starting to daydream and go to your own world again! Thinking of your soulmate again

aren't you?" She snickered at me before hiding behind Dave's back knowing I would get revenge on her.

"Oh please shut up Jenny. It's still early in the morning and I'm in a good mood so I'll let you go for now."

I smugly told her.

I finally notice that the whole pack - or should I say all the werewolf in this school is already standing

and happily chattering with everyone. That's when I also noticed the unique sickly sweet smell of my

arch nemesis who has just arrived.

"Well well well, look what we have here! The prince of leeches - oh I mean vampires! I'm so sorry for

my rudeness your majesty! Your humble enemy will now move so you could pass quietly."

I snickered at my statement to him and my pack also started laughing their asses out.

I could hear the annoyance of the servants - also called as the guardians of the prince of leeches -

seeping onto the air so I might as well push my luck this morning since I really am in the mood

to annoy these leeches.

"Oh now you don't have anything to say you little prince? I think you're so scared of me right now

that anytime soon you are going to piss on your pants and cry!" I laughed so hard that my stomach hurts

and there are a few tears in my eyes. My pack is also laughing with me and I know that anytime soon

a riot is going to start again.

He glared back at me before speaking.

"I really want to tear your head off right this instance you stupid mutt but I guess since you don't have manners

I might as well save disgracing myself. Afterall, it's not worth it to kill you since you are only a stupid and

idiotic monster. And for your information I do have a name its Leo and not little prince." the stupid leech spit back sarcastically.

I am so annoyed by the fact that he called me a stupid and idiotic monster and as hot tempered as I am,

I quickly shifted into a werewolf, together with some of my pack, and started the usual riot everytime their group

and us would meet.

I immediately pounced on the prince of leeches with adrenaline rushing through my veins. It's so thrilling to

relieve all that stress I accumulated at home due to my father. Whenever I and this stupid leech fight, no one

ever gets to win because the Chairman and Directress would immediately stop the fight before it turns worst.

But I feel that this is my lucky day since they are still not here even though it's already going on for

a few minutes.

I finally found an opening in his right arm so I immediately attacked. I managed to wound him but curse his

ability to heal quickly, the wound healed as soon as I he broke free. Before he could counter attack me,

the Chairman and Directress arrived and tried stopping the fight. But before both groups are finally settled down,

we all heard a loud piercing scream from the second or third floor of the academy.

I looked up at the window just in time to see a beautiful girl staring at us wide eyed and her face full of terror

before I realized that my pack is still in wolf form. Figures. Anyone would freak out whenever they see us

because we are gigantic monsters. But before I could further elaborate in my thoughts, my wolf suddenly

howled with joy.

'My mate'.

OH. GREAT.
