Chapter 3. We Found It

We were surrounded, done for, no one to save us. . . When all of a sudden- a giant black dog came running in front of us! I had no idea what to expect, but he had some sort of mega bark! It was so loud he somehow it scared the zombies, and they left us alone. I was so shocked I didn't even notice the dog walking up to me. I had looked down, and to my surprise, it sat right down in front of me, like "I" was going to inspect it. So, I did. Taking a look at his tag on the collar, to my surprise it was King Rex, my dog. I leaped with joy yelling, "K.R.! Oh, I've missed ya' buddy!"

"Is that your dog?" he asked.

"Yeah, his name is King Rex but we call in K.R. for short," I replied.

"Oh! well, he sure did help, but we still have to get to my lab to fix this. Especially knowing we don't have any shelter, too," Harry exclaimed. I couldn't lie, but we do really need to find shelter and a cure. "Okay, let's go, we've gotta' lab to get to!" I said wit all my confidence.
