In that moment

And in that moment he could see,

Everything that was wrong with me.

My heart too heavy, my feet to slow,

Too many dreams with nowhere to go.

He was right and I was wrong,

The path to heaven is hard and long,

One brave man can't save the day,

One strong girl can't get the world her way.

But I'd rather have a heavy heart,

And feel each blow like a lethal dart,

Than watch the world pass me by,

And never even question why.

And I'd prefer to get there last,

Than be glued in place by the weight of my past,

As long as I'm heading to where I wanna be,

Then my fears cannot touch me.

If I've ever learnt anything,

I know that one dream can turn paupers to kings.

So you'll have to forgive me for the way I am,

Because I believe that I'm living my plan.

And in that moment I could see,

How the world should really be.

And how our 'virtues' condemn our souls,

And how our 'faith' destroys our goals.
