She is waiting as I stride to the table. Once she spots me, she lights up and I am stunned. The eyes that I’ve wanted to look into is on me, and I am unable to react. The glimmer in her eyes didn’t seem to appear humanly at all. Mesmerized, I could only stand still and stare at them, dizzy with disbelief.

I am here, and she’s looking at me like she loves me, I shake my head a little. No. She does love me.

“Are you feeling okay, Stephan? You've been gone for nearly 15 minutes,” she widens her large chestnut brown eyes, and I try to formulate a reply.

“I’m…sorry,” I manage to garble out. “I'm...fine.” My throat is raw and parched, so I reach for a glass of water. I gasp as the cool sensation of the water flows through my fingertips, and they twitch from glee.

"What's the matter?" her eyebrows stitch together with worry.

"N-nothing. I'm just thirsty," I answer with a smile, and she doesn't press further.

“O-oh. I'm just glad you're okay. Let’s order,” she suggests.

I nod and sit down in the chair, and we discuss what to eat. I watch her, and every time I glance at her, she would smile or bat her eyelashes or bite her lip. With every movement, I fall deeper in love with her. As I spoke more, my speech became normal and regulated again, without stops and pauses. The suspicion lifts from her eyes, and she is glowing as we talk.

She trains her eyes on me. She sees me, and I see her.
