Sleep-over ruined by news

"Ya we're gonna have 1 room" Percy tells the man behind the desk at a motel in Trenton New Jersey. "How many beds?" the man asks "Mm what the most you have in a room?" Percy asks "2" the man responds acting bored "Umm I guess we'll take 2 beds" Percy answers handing him the money "What are you teenagers doing here anyways" The man asked "Sleepover" I answer leaving "Sleep-over?" Grover asks "Yeah it's not a lie we're sleeping over in a motel together" I say "But without all the sleepover fun stuff" I add "I've never gone to a sleep over" Annabeth admits when we reach the room "Seriously?" I ask "Ya" she says "Well neither have I unless you count sleepovers with Percy" Grover admits "Ya I've only had a sleep over with Grover" Percy says "Ok then since we're gonna be on the move for the next 10 days tonight is for fun! We're having a sleepover and a sleep over with girls should count as like 10 sleepovers" I explain "So what do we do at sleepovers?" Annabeth asks "Eat till we puke! Stay up until we pass out. Play truth or dare! Do hair and nails....you know that kind of stuff" I explain "All we did was watch t.v" Percy mumbles "Ok so let's break out the pajamas!" I exclaim "Me first!" Grover calls running to the bathroom with their clothes "I dunno about this we have to wake up early to move on" Annabeth starts I roll my eyes "C'mon Chase you guys need fun!" I cry "We?!?" Annabeth asks "Yes you my cabin is like a sleepover everyday truth or dare sneaking food music...Percy doesn't have demi-god siblings and your are more about studying" I explain. "Ok I'm gonna head to get some snacks someone come with me we should stay in groups since you know we're being hunted down by monsters" I say after we were all dressed. "I will" Percy volunteers we walk out the hall and down the stairs

*Percy*

She looked so pretty her sun-kissed golden hair up in a high pony tail. Her blue tank top was the perfect sky blue shade like her eyes and her shorts are yellow like the sun when we reach the vending machine she does this weird trick so she ended up paying nothing for our snacks she bent down to get it out of the machine and I couldn't help but check out her butt which is really unlike me! When she came back up she pushed a Mountain Dew to my chest lightly "If your gonna check me out try to be more discrete" she whispers in my ear sending shivers down my spine at the feel of her warm minty breath on my neck. I roll my eyes at her waiting for her to leave. When she heads up the stairs I take a deep breath in and out shakily. I jog up the stairs catching up with Victoria giving her a cheeky grin. "You are to cute...really dad!" She sighs frustrated "So a question about your natural instinct" I start "Hmmm" she tells me to continue "So do you just say flirty things or are they actually there?" I ask feeling stupid right away "What do you mean?" she asks "Like do you just say I'm cute because its flirty or do you actually think I'm cute?" I ask she rubs the back of her neck sheepishly a light blush on her cheeks "I think your actually cute but because of my instincts I can't keep it a secret does that make sense?" she explains I felt overwhelmed with joy "Ya that makes sense" I say hiding my joy. "Ok Sprite for Chase, coke for Grover in a tin can, and Dr. Pepper for me!" Victoria says throwing each of them their drink. I sit back on the bed dropping the chocolate, candy and chips on the ground in the middle of the circle we were now sitting on we turned on the t.v turning down the volume. "Ok so turth or dare Grover?" Victoria starts "Dare" he responds "Ok I dare you to bleet as loud as you can" she says with a grin he hrins back and does his dare making us laugh "Ok Annabeth..." "Wait is that us" Victoria interrpts snatching the control from my hand and turning it up "Percy Jackson is said to steal his mothers car and running away from his step-father abandoning his mother" The news man says rage boils inside of me but Victoria place her hand on mine reassuringly "Percy Jackson has been thought to be seen with his girlfriend as we see him carrying her here in this diner and two friends" the reporter says making me explode "What's there deal I didn't do anything!" I shout "Don't worry cuz every little thing is gonna be alright don't worry...." Victoria starts to sing making my body go limp with relaxation.... she lays me down my head on her lap she starts to sing twisting a lock of my dark hair in her hands soon I'm so relaxed I can't shout just lay there "How'd you know to do that?" Grover asks "James had nightmares he's had a rough childhood and he's only twelve" she explains her voice so angelic I feel like i'm in heaven. "Ok we obviously can't stay here long we need to get 8 hours of sleep max then we're out of here and hopefully next Ohio" Victoria instructs "Ok" Annabeth agrees Victoria gets up heading to the bathroom to brush her teeth and I feel like begging her to stay but don't when the girls close the door to the bathroom Grover grins "I see you and Tori have grown rather close" he says "I don't know what your taking about" I play dumb "Please the picking her up the freaking out when she gets shot in the arms the checking her out everytime you think no ones looking and the singing to you" he teases "You heard her she sings to her little brother" I defend "C'mon man admit it you loooove her" he teases taking a bite out of a red bull can "I don't loooove her" I insist "But you like her as more than a friend admit at Yancy you would watch her during class, at Camp you couldn't get enough of hanging out with her and now this friendship is growing into something more and you like it admit it" he insists "Fine I like her now shut up" I whisper shout "Why what if she likes you back" he asks I scoff "Why would a girl like her like me I'm suprised she even lets herself be seen as my friend" I say sadly "Ok your turn guys" Annabeth interupts our conversation. After we come out we look at each other awkwardly "So sleeping arrangements?" Victoria asks "Percy and Victoria" Grover shouts shoving me into her lap she looks at me with a raised eyebrow before shoving me off "Ok?..." she says crawling into a bed "And sleep no make out sessions we need to get to Ohio hopefully" Grover teases "No promises" Victoria jokes we crawl into bed Annabeth and Geover as far away as possible. Victoria clicks off the light and we fall alseep
