floating on....

a melancholy note......
flowing on to ...brighter tones. .
tugs the heartstrings...

Wondering. .where it came from..
my sights scour in the ..
direction of it's musical flight. .
a bird song ...full of humanly delight...
a kindred soul....feathered bright....
fading away....into the last rays of the day..
a reassurance. ...to meet the dark. .
