holding me near...
an embrace.......
soothing the pain inside...
I finally feel wanted .....
and alive.....
a burden of sorrow....
cast aside.....
my world is joyous....
and free.....
awakening with a start....
a dull pain aches.....
left in a mirage ....all alone
staring in disbelief....
