I use a mix of watercolors, markers, and whatever else I can find laying around!

I know its stupid to go off an tell people how bad crayola watercolors are But crayola watercolors are just b a d
I bought some at a thrift store (For 99 cents wow) and got 16 whole colors. I knew they werent going to be as good as the watercolors I use now (the ones I use now are still on the cheap side) But the watercolors were stranger than I thought?? Ill show the drawing I made and stuff now:

This is based off the drawing I made in art class, but a little different. I just wanted something to color with the watercolors
The crayola watercolors dry weirdly. They have this sort of shine to them, and wherever you layered them the most, they had a waxy texture that you could pick off Most cheap watercolors have a chalky texture to them when they dry (Prang watercolors and Sakura Koi dry slightly chalky. So Im used to it) BUT WHY DOES THIS FEEL LIKE I USED CRAYONS TO COLOR Do they use the same formula or something?? The colors themselves have this gel like texture to them, so that just carries over when you color with them Also, these watercolors are so WASHABLE that when you try to layer them normally, the color beneath gets somewhat erased.
I use their markers like watercolors all the time, so I thought that maybe the watercolors had a chance? The watercolors work, and thats about it :P
An online friendo of mine bought these watercolors to start off. I suggest not buying these for beginners :0 They are quite frustrating to use. But I guess if you like them, I wont stop you

For some reason the first Taffy drawing was in the back of my sketchbook. I don't remember putting it there I think he's been around for 2 years now and I don't plan on dropping him any time soon Im not designing as many characters as I did 2 years ago. I think its because I feel bad if I just stop drawing certain characters Its weird
