Hey, fam!

I promised I would answer your questions about T7P, and here they are.

I've looked through everyone's questions about writing, and I'll start to answer those soon. So if you have any questions on writing, please comment!

I'm also answering some Marriage of Royal Inconvenience questions today as well, so you can find those over at that book on my profile.

Q: What gave you the inspiration to write The 7 Princes?

Q: What gave you the inspiration to write The 7 Princes

The inspiration came from a video game I played a long time ago called Princess Debut. The story is completely different, but that's what inspired me.

Actually, there's a story about why I came to Wattpad.

I wrote a novel before this one, about a teenage sorcerer who is falsely accused of murder. I gave it to my boss's son to read for feedback. He said he liked it, but the romance was a little weak. I didn't have a lot of practice writing romance, so I came on Wattpad to practice my romance writing skills and get some feedback.

Turns out, I like writing romance. You know, as long as there's some fighting or violence involved.

Q: How do you come up with love interests? I mean, since there are 7 members, how do you decide which person is best to suit the story? I've always been wondering that when I read fanfics

The characters in the book were inspired by "characters" the members play in their photoshoots, and a little bit of how they act on stage. I do that with non-fanfiction characters for other stories as well. I find a good picture of someone and create their personality based on how they're modeling.

Another weird tip: I didn't do this for T7P or MoRI, but when I first started writing, I studied horoscopes to create characters. I don't believe in horoscopes, but they lists of good/bad personality traits, and information on how other signs interact with each other. That was really helpful when I was first starting out.

Q: Heyyyyyyyy Author-Nim! My question is that if Jin didn't end up with us in The Seven Princes, would you do another spin off? I wondered how Jin's story would develop

I hadn't thought about doing a spin off for Jin. If you don't choose him in T7P, there's a paragraph that tells you that he eventually falls in love with another royal woman and they get married. Thanks to you, he's realized how destructive his paranoia is.

Watching Jin's character overcome his anxiety about love and the opposite sex would make for an interesting story, but I have too many stories I'm writing at the moment to fully explore the idea.
