The Serpent Queen || Bughead

I woke up in Jugheads arms, Polly, Chic and the twins left late last night but it was nice to catch up, I got up and walked into the bathroom, I turned on the shower and stepped in,

The warm water fell down my body making my cold skin numb, I tilted my head back and washed my hair,

After a few minutes I got out the shower wrapping a towel around my body

I put on a matching crop top and skirt and paired them with sandal like heels, I did a light but still heavy makeup look and straightened my hair, I put on a choker  and put on my serpent Jacket.

I was gonna head into the bar early today so I left Juggie a note

Dear Juggie

Gone to bar, there is food in, help yourself.
Come meet me here I will text you if any different,

I walked into the bar to see many people already there
"Finally you're hear," I heard a voice say, i turned to see my mother along with my dad.

"What do you want,"
"We need you home, you are getting married in 3 days, it is an arranged marriage,"
"To who?" Suddenly another horrifying face walked in,

"Toni, call Jughead please," I whispered "Get me a beer, I'm gonna need it," I say to Toni, she hands me a glass which I finish within seconds.

"I refuse to marry anyone unless I want it,"
"No Betty, you are gonna marry Chuck," she said gripping hold of my arm
"Hey! Let her go," Sweetpea said hitting my mom's hand away
"You can't touch me mother, I have everyone in here supporting me."
Chuck stepped away from my parents and came towards me
Sweetpea stepped closer and all the serpents tensed up, I saw Toni nod at me,
"Serpents back down," I order
"But Bett-" Cheryl started
"I said BACK DOWN, Cheryl." She walked backwards unsure about the situation.
Chuck grabbed hold of my arm forcefully, gripping as tight as he could, I saw some serpents stand but they listened to my order,

"Let go of me Chuck," I said through gritted teeth, He grabbed hold of my hair holding on to it tightly,
"Make me,"
"3, 2, 1." Th bar door burst open and in came Jughead and FP along with Archie, Reggie, Kevin and Veronica. "Nice to see you guys, now Chuck, you sure you wanna hold on cause if you don't let go he is gonna come for ya, and believe me when I say don't make my boyfriend and his dad angry at the same time, it's certain doom,"
"Ya think I'm afraid of you?" Chuck asked gripping tighter, He pulled me back by my hair and kicked my shin causing me to fall and him to pull on my hair, I screeched in pain.

"Let go of me, You guys really want me to marry someone like this?" I asked my parents, Chucks grip got tighter.
I looked into Jugs eyes.
"Serpents, defend your queen!" Jughead shouted, within seconds Alice and Hal were surrounded by serpents and Chuck was to, He pulled out a pocket knife and pulled me up, and placed it across my neck
"Touch me and she is dead," He threatens
"Fuck sake, I have had enough of people trying to kill me and sleep with me, I AM NOT SINGLE PEOPLE!" I say, Chuck puts more pressure on my neck
"Shut up and let's go," He said leading me through the crowd, we got to the doorway when I heard a bang, I felt Chucks weight fall on me, I stepped away and saw him with a bullet in his head,

And there she was, Veronica, holding my gun, sobbing silently, I rushed over to her and embraced her into a hug
"I had to B, He would have killed you!" She sobbed
"Its ok Veronica, come on, give me the gun,"
She handed it over and I passed it to Jughead, "Thank you Veronica,"
"For what I just killed a man," she sobbed with a sad laugh
"For saving my life," she pulled away from the hug
"I couldn't lose you again, you're my best friend!" She said, I pulled her in kissing her cheek and hugging her tightly.

We walked back inside and the bar erupted with cheers,
"Northside Princess, Serpent Queen," we're the words they were chanting.
"Ya know V, what you did took gut, and you just basically risked everything for Betty, you could be a serpent!" Cheryl said,
"She has a point," I replied
"I will think about it," she said with a giggle
