Clover's POV:

"Clover, there's someone here to see you." Karen said, interrupting my thoughts. I looked up from my work with furrowed brows to see her smiling like an idiot at me. "Who is it?" I asked her curiously as I pushed myself away from the table. "He said his name was Will." She said, blushing slightly. "Who is he? Is he your boyfriend?" She asked me curiously as I stood up and walked towards the doorway. "He's just a friend." I replied with a smile, but I felt my cheeks heat up a little. "You better grab him while you have the chance honey, because he's gorgeous!!" She said before we went our separate ways. I walked up to where he was standing, and he smiled when he spotted me. He was wearing the same thing he had on when we met, but the pants were different; this time they were a pair of black jeans. They went well with the gray vest and white shirt. "Hey, what are you doing here? I wasn't expecting you to show up." I said with a smile on my face. "What? Are you not happy to see me?" He joked with an attractive smile on his handsome face. "Of course I'm glad to see you, Will. Come here." I said as I opened my arms to him. We wrapped our arms around each other and I snuggled into his chest as I breathed in his wonderful scent. Over the past three months, Oliver and I have been helping Will get through a really rough patch in his life. He has been doing great lately, which really made me happy. I knew he was still struggling and that he'd have some bad days along the way; it was just nice to see him smile with a sparkle in his eyes again. "I was hoping that you and I could go out for lunch today." He said as we broke the hug slightly, but we still had our arms wrapped around each other. "Sure, I'd love to. But... where are we gonna go? We don't have a car." I replied with slightly furrowed brows. "I called Jessica and asked if she could give us a ride." He said, and I was surprised that she said yes. I guess she really did free up her time after she quit Rite Aid. I was so happy for her. "That's great! Let me just sign out and we can go." I said with a smile. As we walked out of the library I desperately hoped that Dr. Waters wasn't on campus. I didn't want him to know that Will was back, at least not yet. My biggest worry was what Will would do to him if we did. I said my hellos to Jessica as we got into her car, and she seemed really happy to see me; I was happy to see her as well. After having a rough couple of months that seemed like they weren't gonna end, everything seemed like it was gonna go smoothly for once. I just hoped that we weren't in the eye of the storm. We talked on our way to a small little cafe in town, and she said she'd meet up with us after she did some shopping. Will and I said our goodbyes to her before we walked into the cafe and picked out a table to sit at. "Good afternoon you two, what can I get for you guys to drink?" A waiter asked us curiously. He was a tall guy with chocolate brown hair and greenish blue colored eyes. I'm sure all of the girls here are crazy about him, and I admit that he was a good looking guy. I only have eyes for Will though. Will ordered a black coffee and I got a fruity flavored tea. "Alright, I'll be right back with your drinks." Our waiter said before he left the two of us alone. We sat in silence as we looked over the menus for a few minutes before Will broke the quietness. "So, how has your day been?" He asked me curiously. "It has been pretty good. I'll be glad when I get home though. I'm so glad that it's the weekend. This week just seemed to drag by." I replied, and he agreed. Our waiter came back with our drinks and we ended up ordering the meals we wanted while he was there. We were left alone once more. As I went to reach for my drink, I noticed some writing on the cup. At first I thought it was just gibberish barista scribble until I looked at it closer. There was a phone number written in black ink along with a name. Apparently our waiter's name is Ben. "What's wrong?" Will asked me curiously, which brought me back to reality. "He gave me his number." I replied, turning my cup so he could see it. "He's a little full of himself, isn't he?" He said with a slight edge to his attractively deep voice. I shrugged as I took a sip of my drink. Ben came with our orders, which broke the silence that settled over Will and I. Ben flirted with me a bit, which made me feel uncomfortable. Will was shooting daggers at him the entire time, and I wondered how the hell Ben didn't notice. "Prick." Will mumbled as Ben went back to the kitchen. "Someone's jealous." I said, and his head snapped up once he heard what I had said. "I'm not jealous. It's just the fact that he's such a fuck boy; he thinks he can flirt with a girl and they'll immediately fall for him. It's disgusting." He said with a sour look on his face. 'You're so jealous, and it's so cute!!' I thought inside of my head. I couldn't help the warm fuzzy feeling that spread through me knowing that Will Caster was jealous of some guy flirting with me. We ate our food and I noticed that Ben was keeping a keen eye over at our table. It made me uncomfortable, but I was glad that Will hadn't noticed. If he had who knows what he would have done to him. "Do you have any plans for this weekend in mind?" I asked him just to break the silence between us. "No, not really. Do you?" He replied, glancing up at me from his plate. "Maybe we could go camping or something. We could pick up a bunch of stuff after Oliver gets off from work, and then head into the wilderness for the weekend." I suggested, and he seemed game for it. I just hoped that Oliver was interested in camping, and I'm sure he would be. The last time he and I went camping we were both still working at that Amazon warehouse. Once we finished eating I paid for our meal, and Ben started flirting with me once more. "I um... I was wondering if you'd like to go out on a date with me sometime." Ben said suddenly, which took me by surprise. I didn't think he'd ask me out before I even got the chance to text him, not that I was going to anyway. Maybe he figured I wasn't gonna text him, and he thought he'd ask while he had the chance. After he said that, it was like every other female's attention was drawn towards us. "Oh, no thanks." I said awkwardly. "Why not?" Ben asked with furrowed brows. That's when I realized that Will was right; he is a fuck boy... a fuck boy who isn't use to getting said no to. "Well, it's very simple actually. But if your small brain hasn't comprehended the obvious, maybe I should demonstrate for you." Will said bitterly to him. Will gently placed his hands on my hips and turned my body so I was facing him. He pulled me closer to him as he tilted his head to the side and leaned forward slightly. The second his lips connected with mine, sparks began to fly. My whole body seemed to warm from the inside out, and I'm sure my cheeks were as red as a tomato. My eyelids fluttered closed and I gently kissed him back. His lips felt softer than I had imagined they would be, and I was utterly disappointed when he slowly broke the kiss. "Oh. My. God." I heard from the doorway, and a tiny bit of anxiety pooled in my stomach. Will turned around and moved to the side so I could see who was speaking. Jessica was standing there with a big goofy grin plastered on her face. Will and I glanced at each other before we hurried towards the door, and ushered Jessica back outside. We didn't want her to give anything away, especially in front of Mr. Fuck Boy. "How long have you two been a couple?" Jessica asked after a few minutes of silent driving. "We haven't been a couple." I replied, and her smile faltered slightly. "I just kissed her so that guy would leave her alone." Will said, and my heart ached a little. What exactly was I expecting? He's still getting over Evelyn... it's not like he felt the same sparks that I felt when we kissed. 'You're so stupid, Clover.' I said inside of my head. "Well... I still ship you two regardless." Jessica said, and I laughed slightly. "I don't even know what that means." Will said, and Jessica laughed slightly as well. The entire way back to the college, Jessica explained to him what a ship was in the fandom world. It was quite amusing really, especially since he actually seemed interested in her explanation. When we arrived at the college we said our goodbyes and I went back to work. My phone buzzed as I was in the middle of re-shelving some books, and I wondered who it was.
