Diamond Moon
She finger paints in cobalt on feathered cloudbursts, tender cupid's bow brushing rose-hued kisses across charcoal skies. She places tiny diamonds in her crimson hair, and after pinkie swears and bedside prayers, trills their brilliance into the cosmic winds.
Beneath the full moon
Slumber creates dappled fire
Atop crop circles
