There are more than just the main characters of the show.
I repeat: THERE ARE MORE THAN JUST THE MAIN CHARACTERS OF THE SHOW.
Every OC, mine included, only talk with those of the main characters. Clarke, Bellamy, Octavia, Wells, Finn, Raven, Monty, and Jasper. Of course, some also speak with Murphy and Lincoln, though it's usually when one of the two are being bad.

John Mbege (though he's kind of an ass at first)

Diggs
Sterling
Zoe Monroe
Atom
Fox
Rebecca
AND THERE ARE A LOT OF OTHERS.
And if there aren't, make your own!
Don't just make your characters interact with the main people. Eventually, it just gets boring.
