Pirate Ship

16 6 1

Can hear the excited screams
A shiver runs down my spine

Can feel the air kissing my face
And a sudden rush of adrenaline

We're sitting in a ship at an amusement park
Me and the person I kinda had a crush on

We're sitting both together at the topmost seat
Ready for the ride to start and fears begone

And as we're flying through the clouds
Holding tight to the bars of this ship

And as we're coming down again
The only thing I have on my mind is...

This pirate ship just saved me from drowning
Just saved me from plunging deep to my demise

This pirate ship has made me realize deep inside
That what I feel isn't love at all in disguise

I know now that we don't love each other
I know our friendship is better any other relation

And I won't risk our bond for anything else than this
And I know we both prefer this simple adoration

We're sitting in a ship at an amusement park
Me and the person I kinda had a crush on

We're up high almost flying, laughing from excitement
Me and the person I know will stay my friend

And as the ride ends and we're both shaken up
I want to go on the journey up high again

And as we get off the ship still smiling
The only thing I have on my mind is...

This pirate ship just saved me from drowning
Just saved me from plunging deep to my demise

This pirate ship has made me realize deep inside
That what I feel isn't love at all in disguise
