Teddy bear

The guests

I sat on my desk drawing when there was a knock at my door.

"Who is it?"

"Mom said to come on the guest are here."

Jumping up i nearly fell backwards in my chair.

"I-I'm coming."

I looked at myself in the mirror and fixed my hair.

Okay time to met another friend.

I walked down the stairs quickly and saw the guest standing at the door.

"And this is my son Hiro."

I walked up to mom and she wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

"Nice to meet you guys. This is jenny and Kai."

Jenny had on a mini skirt and smiled. Kai was looking at his phone.

Suddenly jenny started laughing.

"Look he has a teddy bear! A teddy bear!"

"Jenny?!!" Her mother said.

I looked at the ground and squeezed teddy.

"I'm so sorry." The mother said to me.

I didn't look up or said anything.

The thoughts of being bullied and made fun at came back.

"Kid?!"

I quickly looked up hearing a familiar voice.

My eyes widened seeing the kid who winked at me.

I slightly blushed and put my head back down.

He scoffed and smirk.

"I see you two know each other. Well Hiro why won't you show him your room and I'll call you when dinner is ready." Mom said tapping my shoulder.

I nodded and headed to my room as Kai followed.

Once we was in my room I sat on my bed and Kai sat down in the chair at my desk looking around the room.

I looked at him and he quickly made eye contact.

I should ask him why he winked at me but it would be to awkward. Then what should we talk about? We can't just sit here waiting for dinner the whole time not doing anything.

"What was your name kid? I didn't get it?" He asked smirking when I jumped.

"My name is H-Hiro."

"Cute. My name is Kai."

"Powerful." I said looking straight at him.

"I see you got a teddy bear."

"Yeah his name is teddy."

"Cute. How old are you?"

"I5 you?"

"17. May I ask? Why do you carry that teddy bear? You can just hang out with friends instead that teddy bear."

He put his elbows on his knees and leaned forward.

"Why wouldn't I?" I mumbled hoping he wouldn't hear.

"Huh?"

I blushed and spoke louder.

"W-why wouldn't i?!"

Opps! I yelled. I looked at him and he looked shock for a moment but smiled.

I smiled back and continued.

"I mean I love him and he is cute."

I looked at teddy.

"I had him every since I was little. He the only one there that would listen and comfort me. I fully gave him my secrets and he never told nobody. I never had a friend. He was my only an first true friend."

I looked up and saw that Kai was looking at me smiling.

I blushed and he blushed slightly.

"Do you have a girlfriend?"

A what? What is that?

"I-I-I mean you have girl that friend right? You don't need that teddy bear."

"Yeah but I love teddy."

He chuckled.

"How cute."
