When I rise every morning,

I feel like I no longer exist.

Each day is like clockwork

Another day yet to resist.

However, would some people say

That it is a glorious day

To make new memories along the way

A second chance for us to take.

New experiences for us to try

Somewhere waiting to feel alive

Meet some people, old or new

Or maybe far new places to view.

But tried as I did, though in vain

I fail to get rid of this pain.

New things cannot replace the old

With no currency can love be sold.

I dream of what I wished to be true

As making new memories failed to be of use

For I have a feeling that try if I may

I might lose you along the way.

Though you are no longer in my life

In my heart, you'll remain and in my mind.

As for experiences old or new

I'd rather try them all out with you.
