Island

Island

I softly trace with my fingers,

The contour of your lines.

My gaze gets lost and lingers,

Far away to meet the skies.

The green of your valleys

Enthralls me... seduces me,

My hair flutters with the breeze

And invites to explore thee.

The cool touch of the river in my skin,

Caresses every inch of my existence.

My naked body fills me in

Rivers, waterfalls, blue cadence.

The sand is golden dust

That feels warm under my feet.

Building castles in the glorious coast.

Sea-stars, shells, palm trees and heat.

The turquoise oceans, deep so blue,

Gives the shore a passionate kiss.

I walk in, hypnotized by you.

Enchanted island, you are my bliss.
