At Mid Morning

At Mid Morning

At mid-morning my flight I will raise.
Spreading my wings in the sky blue,
I will go so high for my soul to face,
The wind, the clouds and you.

Across the sun I will fly,
And my eyes won't hurt the rays.
My soul will go so up and high,
Never be able to reach my face.

The warm deserts I will cross by,
And hover on the turquoise sea.
Finding your countenance serene, I'll cry,
Tears of sorrow will fall on thee.

At mid-morning my song I will sing.
Heavenly chants of eternal pain.
On the same tower, forever my being,
Will dream of you forever again.

At mid-morning I dreamt of you,
Dreaming dreams of never before.
In my wings I carried your soul,
And over that tower I gave you my core.

And from above I stared at you,
As you were in my tower standing.
Watching me from the window,
You disappeared with my landing.

At mid-morning my tower you fled,
While my soul in the sky wondered.
As my body laid on the bed,
My day-dreams you plundered.

Now, I don't fly anymore.
I only feel loneliness and cold.
Now you spread your wings before
My eyes... rampant and bold.

At mid-morning my flight I will raise
Spreading my wings in the sky blue.
I will go so high for your soul to face,
The wind, the clouds, me, and you.
