She hid behind her eyes
Her story lost to time
His heart had melted to ice
He lost the tears and cried
Her arms had fallen numb
She knew the heartbreak had come
He listened to the wind
It told him to start again
She held her breath in
She wanted the pain to end
His hands fell short
He could no longer do his work
She felt the cold pressing in
He was gone
He lifted his head to the wind
It told him, she was gone as well
They lay in cold silence
Not understanding what had come
They listened to each other breathing
Together they had reached in and found, they no longer felt any love.
