I opened my eyes in alarm and looked at my surroundings.

I was in a dark room, in a familiar giant bed....

But I was alone.

"ROYAL GUARDS! OPEN THE DOOR!"

I gasped and quickly shot out of bed...

I felt my cheek marks glow as I approached the hidden room...

I switched the lights on and looked into the crib...

"Oh Meteora...... Wake up. Quickly!"

Her beautiful pink eyes opened and she smiled...

I picked her up, quickly petting the little puff of gray hair on top of her head and covering her up with her blanket...

*BLAM*

I looked up in alarm as I heard shouting and footsteps.

I ran out of the room and hid by a column of the hidden temple.

"WHERE IS ECLIPSA, MONSTER."

"She left." My husband answered in a calm tone...

My heart saddened.

He was trying to protect me.

He loves me.

And I love him.

"LIAR! WE SAW HER COME IN HERE!"

"LOOK! OVER THERE!"

"HER WAND!"

"CONFISCATE IT!"

"Wait-"

"DON'T MOVE, MONSTER!"

I felt Meteora shift in my arms uncomfortably...

I looked down and saw she was about to cry...

My eyes widened as fear took over my chest...

"No! No! Shhhhh! Shhhh! Don't cry baby...." I whispered and gently rocked her from side to side...

This seemed to have calmed her down as she closed her teary eyes...

"It's okay. Everything's okay. You're with mommy now...."

Her breathing slowed and I continued to rock her from side to side...

"Wait, Don't go down the- AAAHHHHHHGGG!"

I froze as I heard a horrible scream come from my husband's mouth....

Then I heard a large thud.

'No.... They couldn't have-'

I felt shifting in my arms but paid no attention to it....

Tears filled my eyes and I started shaking...

'What did they do to him? What did they do to my sweet Globgor??'
