We got home and I was looking down.

My mom came in and hugged me. She was holding Lydia, my baby sister

Hi honey! How was....

Fine...
I said very fast

My mom frowned as I went upstairs

I saw my little brother Josh playing his video games in his room, my sister Annie painting her nails, my brother John lifting weights, Andy playing with his toys.

I overheard the conversation between my parents from upstairs

Brandon, what's wrong with Nina?
My mom asked

Well Nikki, she was very down when she came into my office and she was telling me it was Ok and she was fine very loudly but not in excitement
My dad said

Oh dear, I guess I better talk to her.
My mom said as she handed Lydia to him

My mom went upstairs

Nina, can I talk to you?
My mom said

I opened my door and she entered my bedroom

Nina, what's wrong
She asked me

Nothing. I'm fine
I said

Nina, you are usually in such a great mood, but you're not. Tell me what's going on.
My mom said

I took a deep breath

Today turned horrible. My locker neighbor is this mean girl named Marley Clark. She's awful to me
I said to her

My mom's eyes grew big

Marley Clark?? That girl?
She said

Yes. That girl. Also just like that on the first day of school, Marley and her friend Jillian are CCP's now and I'm a bigger dork!
I said to her

My mom sighed and told me about her experience

Nina, there's something I have to tell you. Marley Clark's mother MacKenzie Hollister was awful to me. She still is. Did Marley call you a dork?
My mom said

I nodded my head yes

Nina, I've been there. Her mom and I were locker neighbors and we at the bat did not get along. She also called me dork. Is Jillian Fieldman friends with Marley?
She said

I nodded yes

Also her dad is principal of WCD
I said to her

I know her dad is principal of the school and also to tell you this, Jillian Fieldman is Jessica Hunter's daughter and I bet she also was horrible to you as well.
My mom said

I nodded my head yes

My mom sighed and she gave me a hug

I see where those girls got their attitudes from
She said

Yeah and you know what she does after I talk to her?
I said

She sashays away
My mom said

I said

Her mom. I hated it when she did that

We both looked at each other and laughed for a bit

My mom said

Yeah. Hopefully it will be the next Generation when I find true love
I said to her

Yeah. It's just the beginning.
She said

My mom kissed my on the head

I'll let you know when dinner is ready.
My mom said

She smiled

My mom said

My dad then walked over to my mom after she left my bedroom

How is she?
My dad asked

She's doing ok now
My mom said

Good. Hope she'll be happier and have brighter days now
My dad said

Well honey, remember when we first met at WCD in 8th grade?
My mom said

Oh yeah. You did have a huge crush on me.
My dad said

My mom giggled

Then we fell in love and got married
My mom said

My dad then hugged my mom and they kissed
