Frenchie’s POV:

My best friend Rob was in town to see One Direction in concert with the girls and me tomorrow night, not to mention spend the rest of the summer with us as he was moving back to Chicago. Tonight we’re getting ready to go clubbing at Energy Nightclub, where I worked most weekends, however this weekend Gordo and Mando were DJ-ing. Mando’s dad owned the club for years now, knowing Gordo and being his best friend, his Uncle Tito couldn’t say no to my job application…oh yeah I forgot to mention that Mando and Gordo are cousins. Hah. Anyways, it was a chilly July night; Rob had finished fixing one of the loose spikes on my leather jacket. It was a themed night at the club and was named “HVY MTL” based on Rob and me’s idea of “HVY MTL LVR” and Lady Gaga’s song; we were obviously psyched.

“Rob, you’re a life saver, you know that?” I said while hopping into Gordo’s huge van.

“I know, I know, and you’re welcome!” He smiled widely climbing into the passenger’s seat, since he had called shotgun before we got in.

“Man, tonight is going to be slammin’ thanks to the HVY MTL idea you guys cooked up, Mando said the place is packed!” Gordo said putting his iPhone into his pocket as he roared the monster life.

*~*~*

The bright neon lights that said “Energy and Noa Noa Night Club” flashed on and off as we pulled into the parking lot. Rob, Gordo and I slinged over our VIP passes to enter, even though we were 19, we still had to show the new security guard that we were important, since our old guy was in California on his summer vacation. As we showed the big buff guy, he nodded, waving us in, not having to wait in that long line as we entered the club. The music was hammering from wall to wall and I kept thinking the speakers were going to burst any moment. Mando was spinning tracks already as he said,

“Hey, hey, let’s give it up to our hosts who just rolled on in, you all know her and love her, Miss Frenchie Rebelz and of course, my long time homie, my compadre, Rob Perez, and who can forget my primo, DJ Gordo!”

Everyone around us cheered and waved at us as we arrived in and I swear I felt like a celebrity…as if I don’t every time. The music got back up again as Gordo went up to spin with his cousin. Rob and I decided to stay on the dance floor and have a blast. We were soon joined by the rest of our group, Cris, my cousin Alex, Amy, Livie, Tommy, and Kevin...who, being the youngest at 17, had to sneak in. My phone soon started buzzing while I was dancing and I figured maybe it was important and I checked…it was twitter, but directed at me.

@amethystcutie: @frenchiexrebelz I heard 1D is at Energy, is that true?!!

@frenchiexrebelz: @amethystcutie Um, lol I just got here, I'll let you know if I do, I doubt it tho.

One Direction? Clubbing here? Impossible! I scoffed at the thought, shaking my head.

"Was that Shina?" Rob yelled from across.

"Yeah, apparently One Direction is here?" I laughed.

"I doubt that!" He laughed as "Run The World" transitioned into Skrillex's "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites". Rob and I dragged our group to the middle and we started going nuts with our dancing. Nearing the end we monster clawed like in Born This Way but, when I went to put my hand up, I hit someone. Oops. I spun around quickly to be greeted by a guy with piercing bright green eyes and his hair was up in a quiff, he wore a black leather jacket with a plain white t-shirt, he had a cheeky smile and reminded me a lot of my 1D crush, Harry Styles.

I leaned over towards him, "I am so sorry!" I yelled.

"It's okay, love, care to dance?" He said, his eyes looking at me up and down before smiling. I looked over towards the others as they gave me the "what are you waiting for look" as I turned back and nodded at the hottie. I saw Rob go up on stage and whisper something to Gordo and Mando and their gazes fell on me as they smirked deviously. Soon Gaga's "Heavy Metal Lover" began blasting as the cute stranger and I danced face to face. Soon more people crowded the dance floor because of the song's sick beat and heavy bass, however that meant that his body and mine were up against each other, to make it less awkward, he pulled me in closer, wrapping his arms around my waist, so I wrapped my arms around his shoulders. We locked gazes and I felt my cheeks get hot as I looked away laughing as he sang along with the song, I'm pretty shocked that he would know the song, besides Rob. He leaned in and whispered one of the verses with a seemingly British accent...maybe Australian?, "Let's raise hell in the streets, drink beer and get into trouble!" I giggled and winked at him.
