Chapter 3:Into The Woods

3rd Person POV:

After finishing unpacking Lucas called everyone back to the living room. "ALRIGHT! So, Jade and Blaze, I need both of you to go out and get some firewood". Jade asked," Why us?". Lucas replied," Blaze is usually the one to get firewood and I have to stay here and introduce Carley, Bambino, and Zy to Ezra!". "Look at that, we get to spend more time with each other!",Blaze smiled. "Great..", Jade sarcastically cheered. "Don't have too much fun, Mommy!, Carley, Bambino, and Zy teased. Jade growled at them as she walked out the door with Blaze following behind with an ax. "See you in a bit!". Lucas looked at Carley and Bambino. "Who wants to meet Auntie Ezra?". Bambino and Carley cheered and followed Lucas. Astro followed beside him holding a tomato. "If that cazzo touches Jade, I'm gonna pummel him with this damn-a tomato", Astro spoke angrily. "Don't worry, Jade will be fine.... I hope..", Lucas mumbled that last part.

Jade's POV:

Great.... I'm stuck out here with that flirty cazzo. I went out to get wood for him to chop. I found some logs nearby, walked back, and piled them by the stump he was using as a wood holder. Then he started asking me questions. "So, nice kids you have there...". I replied back," Yeah, they are-a somethin...". I found some logs and threw them into a pile near him. "So, what convinced Luc to come fly you out here to good 'ol Canada?", he asked. "Well, Carly and Bambino were curious about Lucas family so he thought it'd be a good idea to fly out and meet you guys...",I replied. "At least we aren't back in Scotland, we have a mansion over there and it's more hectic when we are there.", he mumbled. "So are Carly, Bambino, and Zy your kids", he asked, trying to get off topic. "Not technically, they were all adopted..". It was silent for awhile until he asked," So, what's with that cowlick of yours?", he asked casually. I started flustering so bad that I'm sure he could notice from where he was standing," The cowlick means n-nothing.... shit...",I stuttered out the end of that sentence and cursed silently. "Pretty sure, it's just a cowlick, nothing big...". He was silent then asked," So you wouldn't mind if I touched it, would 'ya?". I was silent and prayed that he wasn't seriously thinking of touching my cowlick. "Umm.. I found some more firewood over there, I'll be right back!", I booked it out of there and luckily there was firewood surrounding this area. I bent down to pick it up and when I turned around.... SQUEAL. Blaze was standing REAL CLOSE with his arms crossed and spoke," You know for a normal cowlick, you'd think you wouldn't try keeping the subject off of that...". His finger was so close to the fucking cowlick. I walked back and said," It's a normal cowlick, now leave it alone..". Finally when I tried stepping backwards I felt my back hit something. "Crap...",I mumbled. I put my hand against the back and it sure felt barky enough.... Then Blaze put both of his hands beside me. And if you didn't get the hint.... I'M PINNED TO A FUCKING TREE! "So about that cowlick...",Blaze continued. "Don't touch it, something will happen I promise you-ahh..". I put my hands up to my mouth. That's when I realized, BLAZE TOUCHED MY COWLICK. He smirked," So that's what that does?...". "Don't touch it again...". I tried to escape but I'm sure as hell, I'm trapped between the tree and Blaze. "So.... what would happen if I tugged it?", Blaze asked. Blaze reached up for the cowlick and Jade stood there cowering. He reached up and tugged the cowlick and a certain "sound" came out of her mouth. "Ahh...". Blaze looked down at the blushing Jade. Then Blaze smirked as he had an idea. He yanked it.... "BLAAAZE.. FUCKING STOP!", Jade moaned. He smirked as he said," We better head back before they worry about us". Blaze turned and walked back to the stump while Jade slid down the tree in embarrassment... "Come on Jade!". Jade stood back up and started walking back. Blaze held the firewood while Jade folded her hands and looking down to the ground. Then we finally made it

back to the house. "So that was fun!", Blaze spoke. Jade knocked on the door and said," Shut up...". Lucas opened the door and Jade pushed past him. Lucas looked back at Blaze and asked," What the hell happened?". Blaze shrugged and said," Stuff..". He pushed past him and walked into another room. "Why does nobody tell me shit...", Lucas mumbled and he closed the door.

When I caught Jade writing this at like 7am, it was absolutely hilarious. Jade basically hated me for the rest of that day. I didn't regret anything from that experience.
