We got out of the car and was met with a worried Amanda and Laura

"Hey baby" Amanda said hugging me

"hi" I said

"I'm sorry for everything that is happening" Laura said to nate then she hugged me

"Not your fault" nate said before pulling her back and kissing her forehead

"hey how are you guys" Austin said

"Okay this is the first time in life I see Austin worried, he must love you guys so much" Amanda said as I smiled at Austin

"We love him more" I said pinching his cheek

"Hey!" He said he backed away

"So everything fine with you lovers?" Laura asked as we nodded

"But we have another problem, we'll get in, figure everything out" I Said with a sigh

"Do you want me to get in with you?" Amanda asked

"I don't want you guys to waste your times but Ava do you want to come in or stay with Austin and Laura?" I asked

"I'll go with them, thanks for asking" Ava said

"Look you guys are never a waste of time, you are family" Amanda said

"I'm gonna go with them" Shawn said

I nodded, "call me if you want me, I'm just 5 steps away" Shawn said as he placed a kiss on my forehead

" we're here for you" Amanda said before she, Austin and Ava stepped inside

"I love you" Laura said hugging nate

"Okay and here I am third wheeling for 2 couples" jai said

"We love you too jai" Shawn said as he and Laura hugged him

"me and Shawn will be waiting for you guys here outside" Laura said as me, nate and jai entered

mom and dad sat in the living room as mom sat with max

"kids!" Mom Said as she realized we entered

"I came here to talk to you, but you have to know one clear thing that max isn't going anywhere" I Said with a serious tone

"your dad isn't letting me take you all but max is coming with me" she said

"He isn't going anywhere" jai said "none of us"

"this is not your business, it's between me and your dad" she said

"if it's someone business here, then it's ours!" Nate said

"you can't just appear after 4 years and say you want to take my brother away" I said

"ha, you said it, your brother! He is MY son" she said

"Oh where were you the last 4 years? You abandoned us, he was fucking 6 months woman!" Nate said angrily

"Kids, calm down" dad said as the three of us glared at him

" don't mess this up too Dad" jai said

"lia look I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I left and let you take their responsibility, I'm sorry I made your life miserable, I'm so sorry you took the role of a mother at the age of 14. But here I am, I'll take max and you could live my life, I never meant to hurt you, I love you" she said as tears filled my eyes

"one thing you need to know, that my life was never miserable, but it became as soon as I heard your voice from up. I was living my life and I still am!, I have a boyfriend, I graduated , I got a job, I have So many friends, and I got the most perfect family which doesn't include you and I'm sure you wouldn't care about these. But you are the one who's making my life miserable, you. Are. Taking. My brother. From . Me, from all of us. My brother, I fucking grew him up!" I Said

"max was always here but you left" nate Said

" I was there when he learned to go to the bathroom, I watched his first steps, I watched him riding bicycle and learning to swim for the first time, I was with him on his first day of school, I was there when he learned how to write his name, I was there when he said his first word and neither his first of last was your name, just until now, he never asked about you, he never said I want mom, because he had us, he had me, so you can't just come here and say you're taking him away, I won't let you take him even if it can end my life, because I know that him being with my brothers are safer and better than being with you" I yelled as tears fell

"Jai can you get max" nate said with tears as jai rushed upstairs while wiping his tears

I opened the house door and Shawn stood there with a sad face and Laura had tears on her cheeks

Shawn pulled me in a hug

"I'm proud of you baby," Shawn said as he kissed the top of my head then cupped my face and wiped my tears

Nate was hugging Laura as Laura was whispering things to him as he smiled after a while

Jai come outside with a small bag in his hand and max in his other hands

"Lia where were you yesterday?" He was with a pout

" I had some work but today you're spending the day with me" I Said as I looked at jai and Shawn hugging

" I love you" Laura said as she pulled me into a hug

" thanks for being here" I said hugging her back

We walked to Amanda's house

"What happened?" Ava asked as soon we opened the door

"she can't take max, all of us know that" nate said as he pinched her cheeks

"he's staying with us?" Ava asked

"Yeah" I nodded as Ava smiled happily

" I'll go and talk to your dad," Amanda said

" we'll just go home now, but you guys can come with us" I Said

"I'll go" Austin said

" I swear I could see you both dating in the future" Shawn said to Austin and Ava as they blushed

We got out of the house and we went to the car

"Sorry nate, im sitting here today" I Said as I took the pasanger seat and Shawn driving

Nate, Laura and jai at the back and Ava, Austin and max at the end of the car

Shawn intertwined our hands as we looked to each other with a smile before he put both our hands on my thigh
