This first part of this novel was a stand-alone novelette at first, based on several dreams/nightmares I've had. It was my first completed work, so you can imagine how proud I was :) (Still am ♥ lol) The majority of the story is a retelling of my dreams, with added parts to make it coherent. (The police raid, the kids, the woman in the grinder, the three forms of punishment, the escape attempt, and some other details were all created by my unconscious mind. Yeah, I know... My dreams are fucked up ^_^;; )
The 2nd and 3rd part also included dream/nightmare inspired scenes. Yep, Lucius hasn't left me alone quite yet. Several of the other characters have also visited me in my dreams (Gwen, Khalida, even Kyron).
