My sports hero is Lionel Messi, a famous soccer player.

And this is my sports scenario.

The game is tied 2 to 2 and the opposing team

Has the ball, but with enough speed and precision

I manage to steal it away. Making my way to the opposite goal to score,

Putting my speed into effectiveness I weave in and out of the other player’s way

Sweat is running down the side of my face. I slow down to a stop in front of the goalie

Taking aim I quickly kick the ball towards the net.

It feels like minutes and even hours pass by

As my body slows down everything around me

The slow motion I find myself creates suspense as I wait for the ball to reach the net.

The crowd cheers at my goal and I have won the championship for my team.

I feel strong, proud but most of all tired.

It is what I see through my hero Messi an amazing victory.
