A/N: Hi everyone! This chapter special actually intertwines with the main plot of BB. So very important in other words! Please enjoy and catch you all on the next special chapter update! ^^

And also, keep in mind that every little thing must be taken with a grain of salt as one of my friends always says ^^ So please if there is something I have that makes you say, ‘Hey, that’s totally wrong’ or ‘That doesn’t sound right.’ Please refrain from attacking me ^^;  My story, my tweaks, my own made up histories and such. Ookami History: Twisted Fangs

 

They had been created—a pair of kodachi that had the ability to slay demons…

In the aftermath of the war between the Ookami Clan, its allies, and the demon tribes that had roamed their lands, the Ookami Clan bid their allies farewell. The neighboring villages went on with their lives before—gradually becoming great shinobi villages and eventually splitting to form the present great nations of Fire, Wind, Earth,Lightning, and Water. The monks, too, spread out all across the lands, but as time stretched on and the remaining demons of the land disappeared, the monks’ demon fighting skills were no longer needed. The monks to the north, however, still practiced their techniques, though they did adapt to the changing times like everyone else.

There was one thing however, that would never change…the continued birth of half-demons.

It caused a huge upset in the clan soon after the ascension of the new clan leader, a strong young man by the name of Ago, who had fought and ended the, near, ten year rule of the previous leader, Nadare. Afterward, he and the elders (of that time) came to a decision that would affect the half-demons of the clan for many generations to come: Allowing the half-demons that were born to live; though keeping them under tight surveillance, lock, and key. A second decision was made soon after the first: Find some way to insure against violent and dangerous half-demons in the future.

“But after the war, the monks all dispersed and over time, they stopped the practice of demon slaying since demons were growing scarcer and scarcer across the land.” The new leader, Ago, said.

“That is not true,” Hige, one of the elders of the clan, said to Ago, “There are monks in the northern lands of Earth that are still said to practice demon exorcising techniques.”
