Consternation

Short poem.

•••

quakes, quivers and muscle shudders,
her fragile soul in hopeless demise.
the pipe dream that once was fades,
like a ribbon and the future unfolds:
with pangs of misery, despair, despondency and untimely thwarts.
there's a longlist of endless trepidity,
and heavy sighs, for a breaking heart.
i watch her loose faith and it hurts.
