Jimin had always been the one chasing after Jungkook.

Every single day he would try to make Jungkook smile, he would buy him stuff only to get rejected at the end

But Jimin didn't care because in his head  he had built up this whole fantasy about how Jungkook was secretly in love with him but was just playing hard to get.

But the truth is, Jungkook felt uncomfortable around Jimin because he knew that Jimin liked him, but Jungkook liked Taehyung and deep inside Jimin knew this but he didn't want to admit it to himself.

                                   Jimin's POV

I woke up wrapped around my blanket, with the morning light hitting my face.

I layed there for a few minutes until I decided to get up, I unwrapped the blanket around my body, instantly getting chills from the cold air that filled up the room.

I looked across the room to see if Hobi Hyung was still in bed, which he was, nothing new there.

I headed over to my closet to pick out some clothes , I ended up wearing a white t-shirt and some black sweat pants.
After I was done changing I fixed my hair, then headed downstairs.

I was greeted by our eldest Hyung who was also heading downstairs to make breakfast, a smile was suddenly drawn on my face when I saw my 2 favorite people, my best friend Taehyung, and well, Jungkook.

They were sitting on the couch, watching something on Netflix. I decided to sit with them so I headed over and sat at the edge of the couch right next to Taehyung

"Good morning tae,morning Kookie" I said while smiling at them

"Morning Jiminie" tae answered back with his usual boxy smile

"morning" Kookie said while trying to force a smile, but I just pretended that I didn't notice and brushed it off

"What are y'all watching?" I asked them cheerfully

"It's a movie about a haunted family"tae responded

I just nodded while looking at the tv. About 30 minutes later I heard Jin hyung calling out to me from the kitchen

"Jimin can you help me set up the table?!" He yelled

"Okay!"I shouted back to him while getting up from the couch and heading over to the kitchen.

When I was finish setting the table,the rest of my Hyungs had made their way downstairs sitting at the table, ready to eat.

After breakfast most of the members had gone back to their rooms to continue packing since we will be heading on vacation soon.

I just sat back down on the couch ,next to Jungkook this time because tae had gone upstairs with the rest of the members

"Jungkookie do u want to hangout with me later?" I said, knowing he was gonna come up with some excuse as to why we couldn't hangout, but I smiled at him anyways

"Sorry Hyung but I still need to pack my stuff later" he responded, sounding sincere for a second

"But aren't you done with packing?" I asked him, pouting, trying to convince him

"No, I just started yesterday" he chuckled

"Well, can I at least help you pack ?" I said hoping that he would let me

"No, it's ok, taetae already promised me that he would help me"

"oh, ok" I responded, feeling defeated once again

Author's POV

About 10 hours later Jimin went to the park to get some fresh air and walk around for an hour or two.

The day was just starting to get dark, it was  around 7pm ,this was his favorite time to walk around the park because he found this time of the day relaxing.

An hour later Jimin was sitting in a park bench looking up at the night sky

Jimin's POV

I was looking up at the sky, just thinking about everything that is beyond my sight, all the galaxies, and the planets.

I found myself thinking about Jungkook again, there is something that he's planning to do while we are on vacation, he is planning to ask out Taehyung.

I know this because a few days ago I overheard him practicing his speech, and at first I tried to deny it to myself even though I heard him myself, but I just can't anymore

Everyday that goes by, I see his excitement grow, I know he really does like Taehyung, and I also know that even though tae denies it, he likes Kookie too

I know that he doesn't want to hurt my feelings, so he keeps his feelings to himself, but I know Taehyung, and I know that he will say yes to Jungkook because he won't be able to hold back his feelings, so I've been slowly accepting the fact that Jungkook will never love me the way he loves tae.

But I've had it all figured out, when Jungkook asks him out and tae says yes, I will talk with Taehyung and tell him that I'm happy for him and not to worry about me, that I'll be fine

Then, I will talk with Namjoon and tell him that I need some time alone to get over Jungkook, and since we are planning to stay over there for a few months, I will come back home

That's means that I'll get at least 2 months to get over him before they come back home.

Yea I know that I'm crazy for coming up with this but, what can I say? I can't lose my best friend over this, that's why I'm willing to put his happiness above mine

Hello readers, this is my first fan fiction so I hope it's at least decent

It's pretty short as well cause I got lazy and just wanted to end it already

I started working on this like 2 or 3 years ago

I had posted this chapter like a year ago or 2 but took it off cause I decided to complete the whole thing first

It's about 12 chapters long, well exactly 12 chapters long

Also if there is any bad grammar I'm sorry, I reread this chapter like a million times and every time I find mistakes
