Unexpected Love

Chapter 7

Elizabeth's POV
"You know your like a little baby" Alec says as he hugs me tighter against him

"How?" I ask and he chuckles gesturing down

We we're currently on the couch and I was on his lap (something that was becoming a regular thing)

He had his arms wrapped tightly against me as I layed my head on his chest

"This is perfectly normal!" I say and he laughs before adjusting me so that I was practically straddling him but facing him

"No El it's not" he says and I laugh before giving him puppy eyes. "Can we leave right now?" I ask and he gives me a pointed look

"El we have to wait till Clary is done" he says and I groan

"It's going to take hours! Can we please get the pizza now?" I ask quickly pouting my lips and giving him puppy eyes

He turns his head to look away about to fall for it but I place my hands on his face forcing him to look at me

His eyes softened immediately and he sighs nodding. "Thank you!" I say giving him a kiss on the cheek surprising him

I get off his lap tugging my dress down before grabbing his hand and pulling him up

Big mistake.

I took him by surprise making him tumble and us both to tumble down to the floor

He quickly flips us so that he lands on the floor and I fall on him

He grunts a bit when his back makes contact with the floor and then my weight fell on him

My hair tumbles around us like a waterfall and our faces we're extremely close

I could feel his and my own breathing quicken

I lick my lips as I stare at his full plump pink lips

I was having an internal debate in my head right now and honestly I had a feeling I knew what side was winning

Just as I was about to lean down someone interrupts

"Well this is interesting" A voice says causing us to stop and spring upwards. Magnus was standing there with a smirk

"Don't tell anyone about this!" Alec quickly says as I frown slightly. "I won't tell anyone shadowhunter. Umm by the way there is a couch right there" he says and I sigh dusting off the white dress

"I'm going to go. Alec if your still coming....." I trail off not knowing what to say before shaking my head and walking out

I made it out the front doors and was walking in the cold streets for about 2 minutes wrapping my arms tightly around me as I was very exposed to the cold weather

Soon a jacket is placed over mine and it was big on my small frame. I look over as Alec smiles at me.

"I told you I was hungry" he shrugs and I chuckle still shivering. Damn it sure was cold

"Come here" he says and I look at him. He had given me his jacket and was only in his shirt but didn't seem to be cold

"Why?" I ask and he rolls his eyes pulling me to his side and putting his arm around me giving me warmth

Instantly the shivering stop and I sighed snuggling closer to him "thanks" I mumble as we walk to a pizza store in a comfortable silence

Before we entered the store a girl stopped us. "You guys are so cute!" She gushes causing me to blush as well as Alec as we stare at each other
