__________Ty's POV__________

I woke up at 8:30am with messed up hair, dirty clothes and Adam's arm around me. To be more than honest, i was embarressed. Beyond that. And to make it all better, Adam woke up around the same time as me and i can tell he felt the same way.

"Um...."

"Uh....."

"I'm sorry"

I put it as simply as that, jumped out of bed, and slowly crouched down behind the side of the bed, making a squinted, shy face with my hair over my eyes. Adam just kinda sat there in shock, and in a little bit, started laughing a little. Then alot. At first i had thought i had lost my one and only friend but soon joined in. I laughed too. I wasn't sure why, but i did. It felt good. Really good, to laugh again. I haven't done that since-

.........

I started crying.

I couldn't stand to think about-

My-

My-

My Mom.......

Adam Tried to comfort me but i told him there was no use.
"Adam." I said. "It's-"Is it me?!?" He broke out. "I'm so sorry, whatever it is. "It's not you Adam" i replied. I saw a bit of relief show on his face, but then the same worry re-appeared. Along with curiosity. "It's.... It's my Mom" i said finally. I haven't laughed since"-

I paused.

"Since what?" He said.

"Since. Before she died. When i used to spend all my free time with her"

"I'm so sorry" he said.

"Don't be. It wasn't you. It was my.... My Dad..."

The room grew silent.

"You deserve better than him Ty" Adam finally broke out. I smiled a little. He can tell that it was more than just my mom who was hurt. He can tell that I was too. I knew that he knew.

"You can move in here if you want. My parents won't mind."

It grew silent again.

"If you want, that is."

*whispers*"I would love to."

"I'm sorry, what was that?"

"I would love to." I said again.

I texted my dad.
It went a little like this.

Me: Do you mind if I stay at my friends house, like, moved in?

Dad: You're not home yet?

Me: no.....

Dad: I don't care

Me: Thank you sir

Dad: JUST SHUT UP

*end*

That made me feel good. (You can feel the sarcasm)

"I'm moved in" i said to Adam.

"Great" he said.

"I'm'a go get dressed" i said. "And fix my hair. And take a shower. And shut up".

"Sounds good" He replied.
