SJHW Chapter Five

PIPPA

I woke up feeling like shit because let's face it, I'm freaking hungry. I frowned as I tried to open my eyes. Shit. Masakit sa mata. It's like a blinding light and it pisses me more. Fine, I'm not a morning person at all.

I was about to get up when I take it all in. Drat! This is so not my room. The last time I remember my room is light pink with white curtains and pink sheets. Not this! The room is a combination of neutral colors; white, gray and black. The curtains are gray and the sheets are white. Drat.

Anong nangyari?

I shut my eyes trying to remember what happened last night. Easy Pippa, easy. I was at the bar with Molly and Georgina and then--------. I opened my eyes in panic. May naramdaman akong dumantay sa may bewang ko. When I turned to my left my eyes widen. Tapos napatingin ako sa may bewang ko. A  hand was wrapped around my waist. I was Aiden's!

I'm in a bed with Aiden freaking Suarez. What the hell? My heart started to beat faster, even skipping a beat.

Napatingin uli ako sa kanya. He's too close. His head rested on my left shoulder as his limbs were tangled with mine. His arm around my waist. Ano bang ginagawa niya? Bakit kahit natutulog tong mokong na to ang sexy padin niya? Samantalang ako, I surely looked like a mess right now.

Napailing nalang ako. Sure, siguro nga tawag lang ng laman to. Honestly I'm attracted to him, he's my husband after all. Pero kahit na ganon, it can't change the fact na nagugutum padin ako.

Slowly and carefully I untangled his arm from my waist as well as his legs. Damn. Ngayon ko lang napansin. He's wearing nothing but boxer shorts!

Feeling ko ang init-init na ng mukha ko. Bakit ba ang dali kong magblush. Drat.

Mabilis akong tumayo at lumabas ng kwarto niya. Nakakahiya. Ilang minuto din akong nakatayo sa may pinto.

Bahala na.

I turned and opened the door again. Without glancing at the sleeping god on the bed I head to the bathroom. Kinuha ko yung damit ko kagabi tsaka ko inilagay sa loob ng bag ko.

I stopped and looked at myself on the mirror. My hair is everywhere. Natanggal siguro kagabi yung ponytail ko. I shook my head as I took a deep breath. I need to get the hell out of here.

With my bag on my shoulders I got out of the bathroom. I roamed my eyes looking for my shoes. Damn. Nasa paanan ng bed. Mabilis akong naglakad para kunin yun. Baka kasi magising pa tong unggoy na to.

Lumaki naman ang mata ko nung bigla siyang gumalaw. Damn it. Involuntarily I ducked on the floor. I cursed myself as I grabbed my shoes. Sana naman wag muna siyang magising…

I waited for him to move again but everything is still. Kaya sumilip ako. Yakap na niya yung unan ko kanina. Crazy. I tip toed as I get out of the room. Nung maisara ko na yung pinto nakahinga na ako ng maluwag.

I was wearing my shoes and I'm searching for my smartphone in my bag nung bigla nalang may nagsalita. Kinabahan ako, akala ko nagising na si Aiden. Pagtingin ko sa likod ko wala namang tao.

I roamed my eyes and stopped. It's not Aiden and that's for sure.

"Don't worry love, I'm enjoying the view." He said as he smirked. My eyes widen as I averted my eyes from him to myself. Great. Nakalimutan kong polo lang pala ni Aiden ang suot ko.

I shook my head as I descend down the stairs. I smiled to myself nung makapa ko na yung phone ko. Bingo.

I eyed the stranger again. He's looking at me from head to toe. Shit. "If it's not the famous Pippa Chillingworth. Or would you prefer your married name?"

My eyes widen for the nth time. Sino ba siya? "I don't know who you are but I don't give a damn. I'm leaving." I snapped. I tried to move pass him but he grabbed my arm.

I eyed him suspiciously. "Let go." I gritted my teeth as I nervously glanced behind me. Baka kasi biglang magising yung unggoy dun sa taas. Geez.

"Got it." He proudly said. "Don't tell me you're running away from your husband." His face dangerously close.

Yumuko nalang ako. Kalma ka lang Pippa. Pero naiinis na talaga ako. Gutom na ako. "What if I am?" Sabi ko nalang. Pero hindi parin niya ako binibitawan. I sighed. "I don't know you okay? But…" Hindi ko na alam ang sasabihin. Hindi na ko makapag-isip ng matino. "Look, I need to get the hell out of here okay. And one more thing, I'm really hungry so please?" I said as I finally looked at him. Medyo natunganga ako kasi he's sexy. Damn. Bakit nagkalad ang magagandang lalaki ngayon?

He looked at me with awe. "You're hungry?" Tanong niya ulit. Hindi ba malinaw yung pagkakasabi ko kanina?

"Very." Sabi ko nalang. "please? Let go." Wala na kong lakas para makipagtalo sa kanya.

He nodded. "Okay. Let's go. Have breakfast with me." He said with a wink. Tapos hinila na niya ako palabas ng bahay ni Aiden.

"Hey! I don't even know you!" I hissed.

"I know."
