As I walk, silently, through Mistresses kitchen; full of strange ingredients that I would not dare touch, even in my wildest of nightmares. I see bottles labelled eye of newt, dragons tongue and even vampire fangs. When I am safely past the tufts of werewolf hair I start to feel funny; I almost black out. Wait, it is just another vision, I often have visions; it is the best thing a black cat can do. Humans do not know this but black cats are magic, however I am no ordinary black cat, oh no. I am a Witches cat. I can cast spells and do many things a normal black cat could only dream of, or a normal cat would not even be able to comprehend.

This particular vision however, seems... Dangerous. I see a girl, no older than 12 years. Her hair, long, blonde and flowing; reminding me of a waterfall. She wears a purple dress that goes to her elbows....wait no, her knees. An inch or two below her knees are things which I believe are called combat boots. I will never understand humans; why would a 12 year old female child be going into combat?

The girl is in a room, surrounded by other children of the same age. There, standing at the front of the room is an older man, in his early 40's, a cat would say. He is writing something on a chalkboard. Oh! I believe I have read about a place like this! A human school, a place children go to learn pointless humanity. Although I have never been to one myself, I have read about them in my "mortal studies" book.

This girl is wearing a name tag, I better hope that learning the human alphabet will pay off. Humans have a different language to Witches; I can understand all of mistresses books but not much of this joined up scribble. Aeleeza, Alixa, Aelxa? It says Alexa! I am sure it does. Hmm, Alexa the mortal child. Curious. What is it about you, Alexa? Why can I see you? You seem like any ordinary child.

I want to go and investigate this, however that old mortal saying creeps into my head; how did it go again? Curiosity killed the cat?
