The stairs

Leah walked down the stairs going to lunch when she bumped into a guy with dark brown hair "I'm so so so so sorry!" Leah yells blushing and picking herself up, he puts his hand on her shoulder and smiles kindly "It's alright! I've never seen you, around are you new?" Leah's blush fades and she looks up at the boy (he was always taller than me >:( ) "Why does everybody guess I'm neeeeeew?" Leah complains throwing her head back, the boy laughs and says "Well I'm Nicolas (Flamel XD) nice to meet you" Leah smiles at him "I'm Leah! Nice to meet your acquaintance!" She says giving him a closed eyed smile, he turns a light shade of pink but smiles back "Who are you gonna sit with in lunch?" Leah sighs at his question as she starts playing with her hair "I don't know..." she looks away slightly embarrassed that whoever you sit with at lunch is important "Well you have a place at our table whenever you like!" He gives her a thumbs up, she giggles "Thanks Nicolas!" But before he left she grabbed his arm "H-hey..." Leah looks down "Yes?" He questions "Can I call you Nico?" He laughs at her question "Sure" He then walks away smiling to himself "I hope to be good friends with her one day..." he smiles looking down.

Leah sat at a bench, waiting for her class to be called, in the meantime she read some pages of her book 'Scary Notter and the onion ring on fire. Book 4' she never understood the name of the book series but always liked them. She laughed when one of the Weasel twins said 'You probably have to fight Punny while he's in the shower' she stops laughing it and fighting the urge to read it again until a girl with short dark brown hair comes up to her "Leah right?" Leah smiled and nodded, putting her book down, the girl smiling in victory that she found out her name continues talking "Well I'm Jade, I'm next to you in class!" She smiles at Leah, Leah was a little confused but smiled at her either way "Anyways... I wanted to ask something?" Jade's smile fades and her voice was serious "Continue?" "Can we be friends?" Leah's eyes widen at her question, but before she answered "Class 5-A! I repeat! Class 5-A!" Jade's eyes widen as she grabs Leah's hand and pulls her "That's us!" Jade yells as she starts panting, the teacher smiles at her and starts calling the names "Nicolas!" Jade pulls him smiling "Meet Leah! She's new!" Jade gives Leah a closed eyed smile, as Leah returns her an awkward smile "Oh, Hey Nico!" Leah smiles at him as he blushes a tint of pink "Oooh?!?!" Jade wiggles her eyebrows "Do you two know each other?" Leah nods "Yeah!" They both day happily "I bumped into him on the stairs" Leah says while Nico says "I met her on the way here" at the same time, they look at each other, Nico looks away embarrassed while Leah smiles at Jade "Oh...." Jade whispers in Nico's ear "Do you like her?" She questions, Nico shivers at the sensation of her warm breath on his ear, but shakes his head in disagreement, Jade pouts "Awww! No fun!" She yells "Now I will start calling your names to go up to lunch!" The teacher yells as all the students look at her "Nicolas!" "Here!" He raises his hand and goes up the stairs to lunch "Louise!" "Here!" She jumps up and goes up the stairs "Maxime!" "Here!" He raises his hand slightly and goes up "Charly!" "Here!" He waves his hands and goes up "Alice!" "Here!" Alice smiles and goes up "Leah!" "Here..." Leah raises her hand softly "New Huh?" The teacher smiles at her "Y-yes.." she mumbles looking down "Go on, we don't want the new student to starve!" The teacher says laughing, Leah goes up-
