Merlin pov

My scars are raw and my magic is hyperactive telling me that something bad is going to happen and soon.

Mid-day had turned to dusk, and so we decided to make camp. I settled the horses and got the firewood already, so all I need to do is start a fire and make food. Since I am being extra cautious, I used the flint instead of my magic to make the fire even though the knights' backs are turned.

'Snap.' I jumped and turned only to see Gwaine wide eyed and surprised I didn't sprain anythings I turned so fast. "Wow Merlin. I didn't know you had such reflexes. Though I do admit, I would do the same thing you did if a twig happened to snap behind me. Why are you so jumpy? You have been that way since we left Camelot." I decided to tell part of the truth, "I just have a bad feeling that something is going to happen. Thats all." Gwaine just shakes his head and walks away towards Percival.

I finish making dinner, and the knights swarmed upon it like starving flies. I looked back towards the pot to see none left. No food for you tonight stomach maybe the next. The knights had finished their food, so I left to wash the bowls and the pot in the small creek nearby.

Merlin is awfully jumpier than normal. I believed him when he sad he was jumpy do to a bad feeling, but he was always a little jumpy, less jumpy than now. I turned towards the others only to hear twigs snapping. I realize that we are surrounded.

I turned to the other knights to see if they noticed. They did noticed because I saw all of their hands move towards their swords. I pray that Merlin stays away long enough to not get caught up in this mess. After I have that thought in my head, the fight begins.

I finished washing the bowls, so I started headings back to the camp. When I get there, I see the knights fighting off bandits. I knew I had a bad feeling, meaning this will lead to something even more horrible. Either for me or everyone, I don't know. Why can't I catch a break?

I hide behind a tree since no one has noticed me yet, and started to discretely drop branches on the bandits that the knights couldn't get and could have done great harm. Next thing I know I feel pain on the right side of my back. I guess I missed one, and so I lowered my head down and dropped and branch on him.

The knights had finished them off from what I could tell from part of the clearness and the blurriness. My wound had been kept to myself because if shown it would lead to the knights getting worried to them taking my shirt off to them seeing my scars and then that would lead to questions. I don't want questions. Ever.

I concealed the wound pretty well until a couple of certain knights appeared behind me. Gwaine and Percival. Oh great just what I needed.

Percival and I got suspicious of Merlin when he started sneaking off towards the horses and followed him. When we were behind him, we saw a giant blood spot on his back. He turned towards us, and the look in his eyes said No why now. It was apparent that he didn't want us to know, but oh do we know.

Merlin started to pass out, but Percival broke his fall and carried him towards the fire. I grabbed the bandages while I was still by the horses and followed Percival. Arthur had a worried look on his face and started helping Percival and Elyan(?) take off his shirt so we could address the wound. But what we saw is not what we expected.

Made it a little longer than last time. I don't know how to spell Elyans name; I need help there. Let me know if I need to add anything or correct a couple spelling errors. Hope you guys enjoyed it.
