I Took A Deep Breath And Walked Across The Stage Accepting My Diploma. I Shook Principle Barks Hand And Thanked Him For Giving Me The Best Senior Year Of My Life . I Looked Into The Crowd At My Family Cheering And Waving Even Courtney Came .

As I Exited The Stage I Felt Like It Was Finally OVER ! Graduating At 17 Is The Best Thing A Girl Can Do . . . No Children Or Anything To Hold Me Back From Doing What I Want .

The Next Thing Up For Me Is College . . .

I Sat At My Desk With A Pen In My Right Hand And A Single Sheet Of Notebook Paper In Front Of Me .

Someone Knocked At My Door Startling Me A Little "Come In" I Said Flipping My Paper Over

"Can You Take Me To Work Please It's Raining" Kelise Asked As She Fixed Her McDonalds Hat On Top Of Her Head

I Was Hungry So I Decided To Take Her Even Though It Was Raining . Aunt Sandra & Kelise Are Still Living Here With Us Getting A Little To Comfortable . Aunt Sandra Has Been Trying To Boss Me Around Trying To Convince My Parents That I'm To Young To Drive & That They Give Me To Much Freedom . From Time To Time We Argue About It But My Mom & Dad Don't Listen To Her . Kelise On The Other Hand Hasn't Been Any Trouble To Me , She's Been Cool Actually . She Has A Boyfriend That She Sneaks In The House From Time To Time . I Don't Tell Because It Was None Of My Business But If She EVER Fixes Her Mouth To Say Anything Slick To Me I'll Sing Like A Bird .

I Slid In To My Nike Slides And Grabbed My Phone . "Yeah I'll Take You"

We Walked Downstairs Where Aunt Sandra Was Walking By . I Grabbed My Keys From The Key Rack And Unlocked The Door

"Where Are You Going Melissa?" Aunt Sandra Asked

I Ignored Her And Flipped My Hoodie Up And Walked Outside Into The Rain With Kelise . While I Locked The Door Kelise Ran To The Range Rover And Got In . I Ran To Car And Got In . "You Cold?" I Asked Her "Omg Yes The Rain Is Cold" She Said

I Turned On The Heater In The Car As I Pulled Out Of The Drive Way .

When We Got To McDonalds (Where Kelise Worked) I Parked & Walked In , By Now The Rain Had Came To A Drizzle. As Kelise Walked To The Back I Got In Line To Order Food .

I Felt A Tap On My Shoulder From Behind So I Turned Around "Oh . . . Hey Mike" I Was Surprised

"I Heard You Graduated" He Said As I Moved Up In Line

"Yeah Like 2 Months Ago"

"Hm That's Great Are You Going To College"
