Emma had woken up to the familiar noise of the firehouse siren going off, then the intercom
" ladder 15 ,Ambo ,10-50 , Belvidere St ,  man stuck on roof "

Emma jumped up from her bunk and slid down the pole to get her gear on quickly so she could head out " good sleep ?" Killian laughed throwing on his helmet " you know me Jones , I could sleep through a storm " Emma replied . They both laughed and headed out .

Once on scene Emma hopped out of the truck and took a look at the situation " Swan , on the ladder , Booth assist " David shouted over the screams of people in the street " got it Lieutenant " August said while getting the ladder out up to the roof .

Emma climbed up slowly to meet the man who was muttering things " I know it's in here I have to find it ...i have to find it " he kept repeating ,His leg was caught in a hole in the roof
" sir , are you okay ? ..we're going to get you down now okay .. " Emma said calmly while touching the man's shoulder , he looked up to meet her eyes and nodded . Emma pulled his leg out without a problem and the man was still talking to himself saying " the rats ..their in my head , telling me things " Emma grabbed her radio and said " lieu I think we have a 10-96 on our hands " she got a reply to get the man down so she did ,They easily came down the ladder and August was there for the hand off until the man freaked out and pushed Emma , she fell backwards off the truck and hit the ground " oof fuck " she groaned, there were shouts from the guys ,Ruby ran over to Emma " Jesus Em , that was a hard hit are you okay ?" Emma nodded and dusted herself off " fine Rubs , just caught me off guard " . Emma walked over to the truck "  no you don't Swan , your going to Boston Med to get checked out for concussion " David said sternly
" Lieu I'm fine ...see ? " Emma shook her head and regretted it because her neck hurt, she hissed in pain " Swan , go ..now " He demanded

Emma nodded and jumped on the back of the rig with Tink " hey Tina " Emma said climbing in " hey Swan , you coming?" Emma nodded " lieu 's orders " Tink nodded and they were off to Boston Med . When they got out the man started to act up again and began getting physical so Emma tried to grab his arms to calm him and he flung her to the side , she hit her head on the reception desk and went down
" not again ...fuck " she mutters to herself and helped herself up and immediately felt dizzy until she felt support on her back " hey I got you, come with me and we check you out" Belle said softly .

Regina hadn't gone home thismorning she was edging a 68 hour shift and was running on coffee and energy drinks ., she heard commotion from reception and decided to see what's going on , she seen a firefighter get shoved to the ground . She was about to help when Belle grabbed her and lead her to a room . The man was still causing hassle " will someone please sedate him ! " she shouted.

She needed to ask the firefighter what happened in order to know what's wrong so she went into the room where Belle was holding a bloody piece of bandage to the blondes head " Belle , update ?" Regina said clearly . Belle turned around " on the man or Ms.Swan ?" She replied , Regina rolled her eyes " the patient Belle " Emma spoke up " we got a call to a man on a roof , he was muttering about rats and them talking to him , he pushed me off the ladder and then pushed me into the reception desk ...mental case " Regina crossed her arms " why was he on the roof ?" Emma squinted " I don't know do I " Regina scoffed
" no need to be so rude Ms.Swan , I'm just doing my job " Emma tuted " I'm not rude , I'm pissed that I need stitches " Regina shook her head and walked over to Belle " let me look " Belle took the bandage off to reveal a nasty gash on Emma's forehead " yea , probably around four ....you said you fell ? Any pain ?" Emma nodded " in my shoulder and neck but I am not getting a ct I need to go back to work " Regina folded her arms again " Ms.Swan you fell god knows how high and banged your head , I'm not letting you leave until your checked "
Emma shook her head " it's fine it's just from impact , I didn't pull anything " Regina cut her off " who is the doctor here. " Emma laughed " I was an EMT for two years, I think I know when I'm okay ..just give me an aspirin and I'll be good to go so you can deal with your mental case " Regina shook her head " Belle get Ms.Swan an aspirin and discharge her " Belle nodded and walked away
" thanks .." Emma started " Dr.Mills " Regina finished " Mills , suits you " Emma said smiling . Regina rolled her eyes and walked away to deal with her new case .

Emma went back to the firehouse but was barley in the door when the intercom and alarm went again " Engine 33 , ladder 15 . 10-71 , Harrison Ave" Emma was already in her gear so she hopped in the truck and they were off  , sirens blaring " alright for this Swan ?" Killiam asked " just another day on the job Jones " Emma replied with a smile but if she was honest she did have a headache not that that was anything new .

When they arrived on scene it was a big factory fire and they were advised that their may still be people in the building " Swan , Booth , Lucas enter with caution , I want the second floor cleared " the three nodded and headed in masks on . They all split up to search rooms " fire department, call out! " Emma shouted as she entered the second room . She heard a creak and looked up to a plank of burning  wood that was falling , she jumped out of the way but it caught her leg on the way down " UGHH CRAP ! " she screamed . Her mask and helmet flew off and she couldn't move because her leg was stuck so she grabbed her radio " lieu I'm down ! My mask fell off I'm- I'm ...in ..t- " Emma was starting to loose consciousness " SWAN ! SWAN WHERE ARE YOU ..SWAN " was the last thing she heard from David  shouting down the radio .
