"At 12, you will pick up a razor.

You will feel obligated to do so for the next three and a half years.

You will want to get a piercing, it's only temporary.

Just say, fuck it. It's only gonna hurt for a second.

You will want to dye your hair some ridiculous color just for the hell of it.

You will come home late one day and get yelled at by your parents.

You will feel lonely more than not. It's okay.

You will kiss someone and leave them because you have been left before too, with an unsatisfying ache in your heart.

You will learn to love yourself with time.

You will learn that turquoise isn't your best color but green does your eyes wonders.

You will fall in love with expensive shoes and fill your closet with thrift store clothes.

Sometimes your anxiety will get hard to deal with. You will get through it.

Your friends won't understand why you can't go out.

Don't force yourself to leave the house when you don't want to.

You are very creative and only getting better.

At 16, you will discover you love skirts and dresses.

Nobody has ever seen you with a skirt on and they're jaw will drop.

Two guys in the same day will tell you have great legs.

One day you will runaway, just for a couple of hours and you will take many Polaroids and when you come back nobody will know you were gone.

That will make it easier for you to leave when you're eighteen.

By 18 you have loved every self inflicted scar, every acne scar and every split end you wear, and do so with confidence.

You love how you do your makeup and your freckles have accumulated since you were little.

Time has scared you. Time has scarred you.

You are a beautiful 6 year painting.

Twelve to eighteen, you will be just fine.

Loving yourself will be your biggest accomplishment."
