on the second day,

 

i brought her another book.

 

she seemed like the type to read a book in one day.

 

at least, i was hoping she was.

 

when i sat down next to her,

 

she looked up at me with big brown eyes,

 

and handed me my book back.

 

“how did you like it?” i asked.

 

she was silent for a second before saying,

 

“you made me cry, you shit.”

 

i’d giggled and told her that there was a movie coming soon.

 

she agreed to go with me.

 

i handed the new book to her, if i stay.

 

and as i was walking away, she called after me,

 

“im drea, by the way!”
