Marshall was flying through the sky and up to the top of Jakes mountain in deep thought. He had to think about all his emotions: Sadness, Anger, And most of all Depressed.
He arrived at the peak of the mountain and returned his jets. He looked up in the white cloudy sky and he burst into tears.
"I can't do anything right! I try so much but I'm still useless! Why?! Why do I have to go through this?! Why?!" Marshall sobbed as hard and as loud as he could
Marshall stopped sobbing and crying and started to get angry and angry at himself.
"UGH! I'M SO STUPID! WHY DID RYDER EVEN ADOPT ME?! I'M A USELESS KLUTZ THAT DOES NOTHING BUT MESS UP EVERYONES DAY WITH MY STUPID CLUMSINESS! UUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Marshall yelled so loud that all the birds flew away
Marshall took a few breaths and closed his eyes. He started to remember stuff from his past. When his mother died in the fire, when his father left him to be scrap on the road. He then started to remember a song that his mother sang to him and sang it.
When he finished, Marshall opened his eyes and looked at the sun setting and a few tear ran down his white soft fur.
"I love you Mum, I miss you so so much" he whispered and called out his jets and flew off the peak
His was just cruising through the sky and enjoying the wind blowing through his ears.
He smiled "I think its time to go home" and he pump up the speed and headed to the lookout.
Back at the lookout, Ryder was pacing back and fourth along with Chase while the rest of the pups watched.
"Where is he? I hope he's alright" Ryder said
"Wydew, you have been saying that all day dude" Zuma said
"I know, I'm just worried" Ryder signed and kept pacing
Soon, they all heard jets landing and ran outside to see Marshall taking off his air pup suit.
"Marshall!" Everyone said and tackled Marshall into a hug
"Um hey guys? What's shaken?" Marshall asked curiously
"Nothing, we just were worried cuz we heard a scream from Jakes mountain" Everest pointed out
Marshall chuckled nervously "Sorry about that, I was just frustrated about my leg"
"We'll take you to Katie's in the mourning but right now, lets get some sleep" Ryder conformed and everyone but two walked in the lookout
Marshall and Everest were still outside, Everest still hugging Marshall to death.
"Um... Everest... need air" Marshall struggled to say
"Oh! Sorry Marshall" Everest said and step back a little
"That's better, so anyway-" but before Marshall could finish, Everest burst into tears
"Oh Marshall... Please please please don't ever do that again. I was so scared that you had ran away and got hurt. Please don't ever go away like that again"Everest sobbed
Marshall came up to her and softly licked her tears away. Everest looked up at him and he showed her a soft smile.
"Eve, I could never run away like that. You know that too. And I promise to stay by you guys side. Plus your my best friend so why do I have to leave? I got everything I ever wanted" Marshall reasured
Evrest smiled at Marshall bit deep down, she was hoping that they could be more then best friends. Little did she know that Marshall was having the same feeling as well.
"Thanks Marsh" Everest smiled and put her paw on Marshall's leg "but tag, your it! Race you in the lookout"
Marshall smirked "Oh its on!" And the both chased each other into the lookout.
