I want to take pieces of you I love
And press them into flowers
Between my favorite pages in my book
I want to take all the scraps
That you hate in yourself
And display them on a wall
To show you how much I love you
And the person you are
But most of all, I want to spin you like a ball
And drag my finger across it till it stops
To discover the scraps of you
That you never revealed ti anyone else
I want to wrap them up in my heart
And to keep them there
I'd keep them safely
So you know I'll never let
Those pieces of you go
Because you shared
Hidden parts of yourself
With me,
You're trusting me
To hold onto those secret section
Of your heart
And to love the bits
You thought
Were unlovable
