NOT EDITED, DEAL WITH IT.

           Avalon is better now. Unfortunately.

She hobbles around the house a lot, glaring at anyone or anything that so dares to look in her direction. Stella takes great pleasure in hearing her hisses of pain as she lies down to sleep every night.

Stella grins like a cherish cat, snickering under her breath as she watches Avalon struggle. I'm not going to lie when I say that it gives me a small amount of satisfaction. Avalon does not try to confront Stella or me, but rather she sticks with taking her anger out on anybody else.

It's twice as funny when Mr. Farley announces the agreement between him and Liam. Avalon looks ready to explode, face red and lips trembling to say something. She gets up so fast that she nearly trips and Isaac goes to help her before she screams at him to not touch her. She limps away holding her head.

The rest of Liam's old pack is weary and shocked at the news.

Calvin begs to stay, that he is old enough to fight, but Mr. Farley sends him away and I realize that perhaps he does have a heart since when Calvin and his mother depart, he seems depressed and the days after he rarely barks orders at anyone, but spends his days with Dr. Ackhart, discussing plans.

Calla has stayed, much to my chagrin but she refuses to leave until she has given birth, which won't be long. She claims her two previous children have been born in this house and so her third will be too.

Liam doesn't seem to mind, since now Lance is added to the cause. I'm disgruntled about, mainly because Lance has children and the possibility of him dying and leaving his children father-less is unsettling, but Liam assures me nothing has ever taken Lance down before. Lance is a giant so I'm not surprised.

On the day before the new packs are meant to arrive, Stella asks me, "Do you want to go into town?"

At first, I say no. Because it is too dangerous and I don't want to be tracked but Stella insists that it is urgent and something she needs or else there could be dire consequences.

I roll my eyes at her dramatics - she sounds like Jeremy in that moment, to be honest - so I agree and Liam says he is going too, but Stella snarls at him and Jeremy drags Liam back and so we leave, borrowing Mr. Farley's car.

Of course, Stella drives, but surprisingly she lets me sit in the passenger seat.

"You seem in a good mood lately," I say as I settle myself into the smooth leather seat and clamp the seat belt into place.

Stella smirks as she fixes the rear view mirror and then peals out of the driveway, "It's because of Avalon."

I shake my head but laugh a long with her anyway. I'm curious as to why the hell were going into town and why is it so urgent, but I figure Stella will tell me when she feels like it.

"Do you wanna get something to eat while were there? Calla sucks at making lunch and dinner." Stella asks and I nod. Calla's cooking is horrendous.

Since Calvin and his mother left, there really isn't anyone on cooking duty so it usually ends up being Calla, though I'm sure she's going to get vetoed off soon. Jeremy hasn't been polite about either, declaring, "Yuck!" whenever he samples something on his plate. It teeters on humorous and disrespectful so I threaten him that if he doesn't shut up, I'll make him. He wiggles his orange eyebrows at me but contains his spews when Liam reinforces me. I almost feel like we're his parents.

"BLT's!" Stella chants as we pull into a parking spot and enter a small delly that has pretty cakes and cookies in a display case. Stella nearly salivates and then declares that we'll bring some back to Mr. Farley's place. Again, I agree, but I'm starting to grow suspicious of this outing and Stella's good mood.
