Chapter 21: Blessings...

I sat alone in our bedroom sniffling and crying to myself as my phone played r&b oldies on my bluetooth speaker. I sighed while rubbing the cup in my hand as the song Not gon cry by Mary J. Blige started playing. It's so weird because as a kid growing up I used to listen to these types of songs while thinking of my lonely self ever getting broken hearted in a relationship, and now I'm not thinking it. I'm living it. My heart dropped when the sound of the door opening turned out to be my own husband coming in at 3 in the morning.

I watched as he cautiously looked for the lamp to turn on. I rolled my eyes before using the remote next to me to turn on the lights in our room. As soon as they were on my eyes widened at the appearance of my husband.

His clothes were messed up with blood stains and his eyes were puffy like he's been crying. His lip had a cut on it and cheek had a scratch mark.

"Sebastian! What happened to you?!" I asked as I got up noticing he was also drunk,

"Baby" he slurs while trying to reach me before falling on the bed as I looked over his body seeing tears in his shirt and blood dripping off the side of his body where a gunshot wound was

"I'm so sorry for making you think I cheated on you, I'll do anything please. Just take me back. I'll promise to love you better and to make you ha-" before he finished I cut him off,

"Sebastian be quiet, your drunk and bleeding all over the bedroom floor. Come on, let's get you cleaned up" I say pulling him into the shower as he groans,

I turned the shower on making sure it was warm before cautiously taking off my husband's blood stained clothes. I pulled him into the shower making sure I wasn't going to get wet. I stayed on the outside of the shower washing off the blood stains and marks on his body as he watched me with curiosity.

"I don't know how God blessed me with you" he says grabbing my wrists as I gulped nervously looking up at him noticing his drunken state was wearing off since there were tears in his eyes while he was looking down at me,

"I love you Baby" he says as I nod before finishing with washing his body,

After I finished washing him, I turned the shower off and wrapped a towel around his waist before making him sit on the counter by the sink so I could tend his wounds.

"What happened to you?" I ask taking the safety kit and cleaning the gun shot wound on his side,

"I was at a bar drunk as shit and some guys wanted to mess with me because I was crying" he replied with a shrug as I looked at him with wide eyes,

"Why were you crying at a bar?" I ask confusedly as he shrugs,

"Because my wife was hurting and since we're soul mates I felt it" He says with a frown as I looked at him in shock before shaking my head and continuing on fixing his side,

After I finished with his side I went up towards his face to clean the mark on his cheek. He watched me carefully as I placed some vix and a small bandage. As I finished I was going to pull away but his hands grabbed my wrists as I looked up at him seeing he wasn't drunk anymore.

"I would never cheat on you kitten" he says sternly staring into my eyes as I nod,

"I know" I say looking down before he let go of my hands and cupped my face,

"I love you" he says before kissing me as I kissed back remembering how much I missed his lips,

"Wait" I say pulling away as he looked at me confusedly,

"There's something I need to tell you" I say nervously as his eyes filled with worry,

"Your leaving me for someone else?" He asks with a gasp as my eyes widened,

"No!"I say quickly shaking my head as he sighed,

"Okay, I thought I was going to kill someone" He says with a sigh as I rolled my eyes and laughed,

"I've been holding this off for a while, but your going to be a father" I say with a nervous gulp as he stared at me with no emotion before saying something,

"Oh my god! I'm gonna be a dad?!" He shouts happily jumping off the counter as my eyes widened when his towel dropped,

"Sebastian!" I shrieked as his naked body was holding me tightly,

"You've made me the happiest man in the world for the second time" he says kissing me all over my face as I laughed,

"Wait, for the second time?" I ask confusedly as he lifts my hand up kissing my wedding ring,

"The first time was when you said yes" he says holding my hand while staring into my eyes as I looked behind him to see I was blushing,

"Now, we're going to be parents" he says kneeling down and pushing my shirt up as I gasped when he kissed my stomach,

"I love you already tiny me" he says caressing my torso as I ran my hand through his hair smiling down at him.
