Today is May, 25, a Friday, finaaly. Me ( Sandy ), and Cristina were walking out of Ms.Robinsons class, to go to lunch, when we heard one of our best guy friends yell our names down the hall. ( by the way we're in 8th grade.)
' SANDY, CRISTINA, WAIT UP! ' Nick yelled running down the hall to catch up to us.
Me and Cristina stopped, he came up behind us and gave us hugs. I smiled. We all walked towards the snack cart and got a bag of chips for us to share. We sat at a table and talked while eating the chips. After about 8 minutes of talking i went to the bathroom to fix my hair. As i was walking out i bumped into a tall, not too tall, boy with black skinny jeans on, a white t-shirt that said ' HATERS GON' HATE ' , and some white converse. He looked kinda mad and said,
' hey, be careful. ' he said with a bit of an attitude
' uhh, excuse me ?' i said referring that he was the one that bumped into me
' uggh, you could have dirtied my new shoes, you know what just forget it. ' he said then walked away.
' uhh, rude. ' i said walking away towards my table again.
I finally got there and sat down. I guess i looked kinda mad because Nick asked what's wrong.
' nothing, just jerks now-a-days. ' i said grabbing some chips
' WHO ? ILL KILL THEM IF THERE RUDE TO YOU TWO, YOURE MY BEST FRIENDS. ' he said
I chuckled and said ' i dont know Nick, he's new, ' i turned around and saw him with this group of girls, ' , thats him ' i said pointing at him
' ..... JAKE !?!?!?!?!?!?!?! ' he said
' you know him ? ' i asked
' umm, well, he's kinda the ' player '' of the school now. ' he said putting air quotes around player
' what do you mean ? ' i asked
' well, i hear he's already going out with Melissa's sister, but that's not stopping him from flirting with those girls . ' he said. Melissa is Nick's Captain of the Cheerleading squad girlfriend, she's popular, and every boy in the school wants her, but Nick is going out with her. I dont like her but, not because i have a crush on Nick or anything, psssssshhh. Well, i kinda do, is it noticsable? :( But Melissa doesn't deserve Nick, he's great and she's so mean, she's always arguing with him and only wants to make out with him.
I turned around and saw Jake with his left arm around some random girl and his right arm around another random girl and the other girls surronding them. Jake looked up and saw me looking at him, he then did the pitbull smirk and winked at me. I rolled my eyes at him and turned back around.
' Cristina, how come your not talking ? ' i asked Cristina
' huh, oh, sorry, im texting Mikey. ' she said
Mikey is Cristina's crush, she's been crushing on him since they met in 2nd grade, but what she doesn't know is that Mikey likes her too, i know because he told me himself, that he liked her.
' how'd i know ? ' i said sarcasticlly, she looked up at me and smiled
5 minutes later the bell rang for 5th period. 5th and 6th period went by fast, now we're in 7th period, P.E. Me, Cristina, and Nick have that class together. But what were we in for next. My entire P.E. class was in the feild when our teacher, Mr.Walsh, came up to us with... JAKE !?!?!?!
' class, welcome our new student, Jacob...Moore . ' Mr.Walsh said
Jake, leaned over to Mr.Walsh and said, ' it's Jake. '
' ok today's Friday, so you guys can do what you want. ' Mr.Walsh said. Right then Nick put his arms around me and Crsitina and walked in the middle of us around the track. We talked and about 8 minutes of talking and walking i felt someone's arm around my waist.
' not my waist Nick. ' i said
' im not Nick ' i heard someone whisper in my ear, i turned around and saw it was Jake. Just then Mr.Walsh yelled for Nick and Jake to leave us alone and go play a game. So that left me and Crsitina to talk. We talked and talked until she finally asked me,
' are you going to Madison's party tonight ?' she asked me
' umm, i dont know, what time ?' i asked her
' i think at 7. ' she said
' umm, yeah , sure. ' i said
' ok cool, you can come to my house and we'll get ready together. ' she said
' ok ' i said then the bell rang for us to go home, FINALY.
Me and Nick walked home together since we live right next door. We talked about really random things. Then we got home and went in our rooms. Mine and Nicks room are right across from each other so we can see through our windows. Ever since back in Pre-K me and Nick have been best friends, so when we were in our rooms, and wanted to talk but we didn't have phone's yet, we would get paper and write things on it and show it through the window, and thats how we would talk. But, now me and Nick are in 8th grade and have phones, but we still write on the paper like before.
