slowly, surely, he could feel his entire world crumble around him. he wanted to pretend for a little longer, tell himself that it would be okay, that there were people in this world who would miss him.
he couldn't carry on for much longer, and if he didn't find something to hold on to and he didn't find it soon, then he wasn't sure he could hold on.
