Act 3:Hook

121.667 days had passed and slowly Cala Maria was starting to lose hope of seeing Mugman.No flowers were waiting for her at the dock every night like before.Months were passing and nothing was happening so Cala Maria lost all hope and decided it was time.
I guess it only puppy love,but my heart   it.....it aches.I wanna see him again but how?
[MEANWHILE]
"Alright next soul contract someone named Cala Maria"Cuphead said.Together the two boys started walking up to the dock.Mugman however stopped suddenly.
"Mugs?,you okay?,you seem a little off today"Cuphead asked.Mugman shocked his head
"No...no I'm fine....it's just that this seems so...so never mind let's just continue"Mugman suggested continuing walking forward.Cuphead followed behind Mugman and together they went up to the dock,
"T-this is impossible,it seems all so familiar..Mugman's words soon trailed off
"Did you say something?" Cuphead asked looking back,Mugman shook his head.
"Hey fish lady were are ya?!,we don't have all day!,We need that soul contract!"Cuphead yelled at the ocean.No answer,Cuphead angrily tapped his foot against the dock wood until a couple of bubbles started  popping violently then came out Cala Maria.
"What do you want?"She growled towards Cuphead,
"Are you Cala Maria?" Cuphead asked.The mermaid sighed
"Unfortunately yes,let me guess you're here for my soul contract aren't you"she replied.Cuphead was shock,
"How do you know about that?" Cuphead asked
"Are you seriously that stupid the news been spreading since you defeated the root pack and Hilda Berg",she huffed.While Cala Maria and Cuphead argued Mugman saw a hook stuck in part of Cala Maria's tail.
"Fine be like that way!,I'm not leaving until I get your soul contract!"Cuphead demand
"Well then your gonna have fight me first"she growled.Mugman was ignoring the fighting between Cuphead and Cala Maria he was more focused on the hook that stuck in Cala's tail,
"Come on Mugs we aren't gonna let this fish win!"Cuphead yelled.Both of the cups hoped into their plane and went in for lift off,Cuphead started shooting bullets at Cala while Mugman was behind Cuphead.
"Mugs what are you doing!,don't just stand there!" Cuphead again yelled at Mugman.Mugman continued watching Cala while fighting from a distance,she really was in pain,she made faces in pain whenever she tried swimming back and forth it was then that he couldn't take it anymore.
"STOP!,STOP! Everyone stop!"Mugman yelped,Cuphead along with Cala Maria stopped Mugman zipped up to Cala grabbing the hook out of Cala Maria.
"Cala what happened?,why was there a hook in your tail?" Mugman asked throwing the hook back at the dock.Again she sighed,
"Well when I went to the casino I betted my soul too but I ran away from my debt.Recently one of the members of the casino tried taking me back to the casino so that I had to work for the devil for the rest my life.But I made it out,unfortunately the hook was left"Cala said sadly.Mugman got out of his plane and started running toward the direction of casino,
"Mugman where are you gonna!?"Cuphead demand chasing Mugman.
